In many Nickelodeon crossover games, there’s been quite a mix-up when it comes to the variety, even in boss battles. For instance, in series like Nicktoons Unite!, the consistency is mainly limited to the characters involved, but the choice of villains can vary greatly. Traditionally, older Nicktoons games tended to select from a small pool of antagonists like Plankton and Vlad Plasmius. However, it appears that Dice of Destiny might be bucking this trend.

During the peak of Nicktoons crossover games, the cartoon world was significantly diverse. Characters like SpongeBob, Danny Phantom, Timmy Turner, and Jimmy Neutron were ubiquitous back then. However, today, only SpongeBob has managed to maintain such popularity (although Danny Phantom and Fairly Oddparents are receiving more visibility in Dice of Destiny).
