How Sims 4 Players Can Get SpongeBob Event Rewards Early

Players of The Sims 4 can get a head start on collecting rewards from the upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants-themed event. A fan has discovered a way to unlock all 20+ items – including furniture, clothes, and more – from the ‘Deck the Palms’ event as soon as it begins, instead of waiting throughout the month-long event.

First launched in 2014, The Sims 4 became free to play in October 2022, allowing a wider range of players to enjoy this popular life simulation game. However, only the base game is free; the many expansions, Stuff Packs, and Creator Kits are still purchased separately. The developers at Maxis frequently add new furniture, clothing, and other items to players’ collections through special in-game events, sometimes simply for logging in or completing specific challenges.

I’m so excited about the new Sims 4 event! It’s called Deck the Palms and it’s supposed to run from December 16th to January 13th, releasing rewards in little bits and pieces over nine days. But, lucky for us, a modder named LunarBritney has created a mod on Mod The Sims that basically unlocks everything right now! It makes the game think you’ve already gotten all the rewards and finished the event. The best part is, because it’s a login event, we won’t miss out on any actual gameplay or missions to earn those rewards – we can just enjoy having them immediately!

The ‘Deck the Palms’ event is bringing a splash of SpongeBob SquarePants to The Sims 4 just in time for the holidays! Several rewards tie into the popular cartoon and will complement the recently released SpongeBob’s House and Kid’s Room Kits. A highlight is the Krabby Patty Secret Recipe, a new cooking recipe available as a login reward on December 26, letting players create the famous Krusty Krab dish. Sims can also sport the Bikini Bottom Hoodie, offered in 12 different designs featuring SpongeBob, Gary, Patrick, Plankton, and Mr. Krabs, including one inspired by SpongeBob’s pineapple home. If you have the Cats & Dogs expansion, you can even dress your pets in SpongeBobthemed hoodies! Finally, an Undersea Phone adds to the collection of SpongeBobinspired furniture.

Whether you’re into the undersea theme or not, this event offers fun winter goodies for players. You can customize your Sims with new clothes like fuzzy mittens and boots, and a festive button-up shirt. Decorators will love the new slides for kids, a special mailbox, a holiday-themed palm tree, and a ticket machine for those with the Businesses & Hobbies pack. Plus, there’s a whole collection of new magnets and a new board to show them off!

This mod has been downloaded over 500 times and appears to be working well, with many players expressing gratitude to the creator for allowing them to skip the login event and claim rewards instantly. Although EA generally allows mods in The Sims 4 and even provides a way to enable them in the game, they still reserve the right to take action against mods that violate copyright. Players should therefore be careful when downloading any mods.
