Malamar Location
- Time: Day/Night
In the far south of Wild Zone 20, you’ll find a deep pool with a wooden bridge. Two Malamar are often seen floating on the water’s surface, and this is the same area where Dragalge can appear.
Dragalge Location
- Time: Day/Night
You can find Dragalge floating in the deep water near the wooden bridge in Wild Zone 20. If you encounter a Malamar there instead, try fast traveling to the zone again to reset it.
Hippowdon Location
- Time: Day/Night
You can find two Hippowdon in Wild Zone 20. One is right in front of the entrance on the south side, and the other is across from the entrance on the west side.
Lucario Location
- Time: Day/Night
Two Lucario are visible on the sandy ground, near a large rock and some trees, between the paved walkway.
Roselia Location
- Time: Day/Night
Roselia can be found roaming the area between the bushes in the eastern part of Wild Zone 20.
Gardevoir Location
- Time: Day/Night
You can find two Gardevoir in the garden area around Prism Tower. One is near the north entrance in the northeast, and the other is in the east, directly in front of the entrance.
Gardevoir are easily startled and will quickly run away if they notice you coming. To catch one, it’s best to quietly sneak up behind it and use a Quick Ball.
Scrafty Location
- Time: Day/Night
You can find Scrafty in the construction area of Wild Zone 20, among the rubble and metal. After completing Main Mission 31, you can buy Scraftinite at the Quasartico Mega Shard Exchange for 240 Mega Shards.
Garbodor Location
- Time: Day/Night
You can often find a small number of Garbodor near the containers in the construction area of Wild Zone 20.
Aggron Location
- Time: Day/Night
You can find a single Aggron appearing in the construction area of the northwestern part of Wild Zone 20. It doesn’t always appear, but it’s a fairly common encounter. Once you finish Main Mission 20, you can buy Aggronite at the Quasartico Mega Shard Exchange for 360 Mega Shards.
Charmander Location
- Time: Day/Night
Charmander can appear in any of the five spots pictured. Being a Fire-type Pokémon, it avoids water.
All five starter Pokemon in Wild Zone 20 can appear in the same five places. If you don’t find the one you want, simply leave and return to the zone to try your luck again.
Tepig Location
- Time: Day/Night
You can find Tepig in one of the five places marked on the map. It’s a pretty common starter Pokémon in this area, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble locating it.
Totodile Location
- Time: Day/Night
Totodile appears in one of five spots (as indicated in the image). You might also see it swimming with Dragalge and Malamar, or in the shallow water surrounding the entire Wild Zone.
Bulbasaur Location
- Time: Day/Night
Bulbasaur appears in one of five places, as indicated above. You’ll usually find it resting close to bushes, but it’s generally harder to find than the other starter Pokémon.
Chikorita Location
- Time: Day/Night
After Tepig, Chikorita is the most frequently found starter Pokémon in Wild Zone 20, with five different places where it can appear.
Squirtle Location
- Time: Day/Night
You can find Squirtle in five different spots within Wild Zone 20 (as pictured). It’s one of the hardest starter Pokémon to locate there, about as rare as Charmander, and it’s also difficult to catch. To increase your chances of success, keep using Ultra Balls until Squirtle becomes enraged.
Alpha Pokemon in Wild Zone 20
Wild Zone 20 has two spots where Alpha Pokémon appear, located right in the center of the area, under the damaged Prism Tower. Because several different Pokémon can spawn in these spots, you’ll usually find a new pair of Alpha Pokémon wandering around the central pit each time the zone resets.
So far, we’ve seen the following Alpha Pokemon make an appearance here:
Our tests show that Alpha Pokemon in Wild Zone 20 are only fully evolved Pokemon from the Kalos region. Interestingly, this includes Pokemon that are usually only available through trading, like Gengar and Alakazam. This makes Wild Zone 20 a great place to complete your Pokedex after you’ve finished the main game.
