How to 100% Wild Zone 4 in Pokemon Legends Z-A

The Wild Zone 4 area in *Pokemon Legends: Z-A* features six different Pokemon species. As with other areas in the game, some Pokemon are rarer than others, which can make completing the Pokedex a bit of a grind.

To collect all six Pokémon and fully complete the game, players need to understand when and where each one appears. This guide details the locations and how to find every Pokémon in Wild Zone 4.

All Wild Zone 4 Pokemon in Pokémon Legends: Z-A & Where to Find Them

The six Pokemon found in Wild Zone 4 are:

Gastly Location

Gastly is the most frequently encountered Pokémon in the Wild Area’s Zone 4. You’ll find it wandering among the tombstones in the cemetery.

Spewpa Location

You can find Spewpa right next to the entrance of Wild Zone 4, hidden in the bushes. It’s a shy Pokémon that won’t attack you first, but it will try to escape if it can. To make catching it easier, use a strong Fire or Flying-type move to defeat it quickly in one turn.

If fainted, Wild Zone Pokemon respawn when players exit and reenter the area.

Spinarak Location

You can easily find Spinarak crawling on tombstones throughout Wild Zone 4, especially around the large mausoleum in the center of the cemetery, where there are usually around twelve of them.

Ekans Location

Ekans is tricky to find because it hides in tall grass. If you’re near grass, quickly press the ZL button – this will automatically target Ekans if it’s nearby, preventing you from walking past it. Be careful, though! Ekans is aggressive and will attack if it sees you.

Honedge Location (& How to Change Time of Day)

Honedge is a Pokemon that comes out at night and can only be found in Wild Zone 4. We saw several of them floating along the main path after dark.

To obtain Honedge in *Pokemon Legends: Z-A*, you’ll first need to learn how to change the time of day. This ability becomes available after completing the fifth main story quest and finishing three side quests for Emma.

You can fast-forward time from day to night by either resting on any bench or sleeping in your bed at Hotel Z. If you’re near Wild Zone 4, there’s a bench conveniently located just outside the Pokemon Center, to the north.

Patrat Location

Similar to Honedge, you can only find Patrat at night in Wild Zone 4. However, if you’ve already caught a Patrat in Wild Zone 2, it counts towards completion in Wild Zone 4, meaning you don’t need to find another one to fully complete the area.
