How to Access the Veilwater Basin in Enshrouded

The highly anticipated Update 7, called Wake of the Waters, is now available for Enshrouded. It introduces the beautiful Veilwater Basin, a large new area that features a completely revamped water system. This means rivers flow and waterfalls cascade throughout Embervale, dramatically changing the landscape.

Veilwater Basin is a brand new, challenging area in Enshrouded, offering fresh enemies, valuable resources, quests, and exciting rewards. Keep reading to find out how to access this stunning new region.

How to Enter the Veilwater Basin Biome in Enshrouded

It’s best to reach at least Level 35 and fully upgrade your equipment before venturing into the Veilwater Basin. This area is intended for players who have progressed far in the game and is located near the Albaneve Summits.

The simplest way to reach Veilwater Basin is to begin at the Ancient Spire – Albaneve Summits. From this high location, you can glide southwest directly to your destination.

After that, get your glider ready and fly southwest to the Elixir Production Site in a single, continuous glide. Think of it as a halfway point between the Albaneve Summits and Veilwater Basin.

When you arrive at the Elixir Production Site, prepare for a fight! Defeat the enemies there and head west through the facility. Look for a rough path – it will take you to the Passage to Veilwater Basin, a rocky area that connects the snowy mountains to a warm, tropical region.

Most of the passage is shrouded, so equip shroud-resistant gear or elixirs before you proceed.

Keep going across the wooden bridges and over the rocky ground until the path turns to sand. Follow the sandy path heading northwest, then turn left, and you’ll soon arrive at the Veilwater Basin Outlook. There’s also a Return Beacon close by.

When you reach Veilwater Basin, you’ll discover a stunning tropical paradise with lush jungles, beautiful beaches, and intriguing ruins hidden beneath the waves. To fully experience the underwater ruins, be sure to bring items that help you breathe longer underwater, ensuring a safe and enjoyable exploration.

Explore brand new locations, including the Capybara Oasis and the deserted town of Riverreach, where you’ll discover fresh quests, challenges, and valuable rewards. You’ll also find plenty of new resources to gather, such as Bamboo, Crab Meat, Ginger, Shell, and Tropical Wood.
