How To Beat All Bosses In Skyrunner Charadrius

How To Beat All Bosses In Skyrunner Charadrius

As a seasoned adventurer with countless battles under my belt, I must say that the fight against Ceiba in Metaphor: ReFantazio is more about strategy than raw power. This pesky maintenance chief can make you feel like banging your head against a wall (or perhaps a Mage Wall) with his annoying ability to block Physical attacks during his turn. But fear not, my fellow warriors! There are ways to outsmart him.

As I step out of Charadrius for the first time, my objective becomes clear: sneak into Louis’s private chambers to uncover his secret formula. Navigating through these dungeons won’t be a walk in the park – some of the bosses here are real headaches! To make things even tougher, every battle I engage must be wrapped up within just three turns. Failure to do so means restarting from my last Autosave.

In this manual, you’ll find details about the vulnerabilities of every boss found within the Skyrunner Charadrius labyrinth, along with strategies to defeat them within just three rounds, metaphorically speaking, in the game named Refantazio.

Players must complete the main sorcerer’s dungeon by 08/12, or else they won’t be able to succeed in their mission to free the Prince from the curse.

For your Skyrunner Charadrius adventure, it’s suggested to select these party member archetypes for optimal boss fight performance:

  • Protagonist – Cleric/Commander
  • Strohl – Pugilist/ Gunner
  • Hulkenberg – Magic Knight
  • Heismay – Gunner/Assassin

Before going to the dungeon, you must do some things first. Head to The Greatest Catch tavern and talk to the Informant there. He should provide you with quite a lot of information on the bosses you will face inside the Skyrunner dungeon. Try to save Matterbreak Hammer because you need it for a boss fight. If you are planning to complete smaller dungeons before going to the Charadrius, make sure you Master the Commander Archetype, which is from the General lineage.

The Charadrius is one of the shortest dungeons in the game and is basically a boss rush, as you can ambush and one-shot all the enemies you face along the way. One of the bosses can cause the Daze, so it would be great if you could buy a few items that cured that Status Effect. Skills like Patra can also cure Daze.

Aim to conquer the dungeon within one day, leaving ample time for strengthening connections with your companions and finishing additional missions before venturing into the next major region.

Inside the Crew Quarters of the Skyrunner, Sergeant Xanth resides. He doesn’t have any inherent weaknesses, but he can be affected by status ailments. Choosing the Gunner Archetype is advisable since its Pierce Attacks can induce Sleep and Poison on this foe, making them easier to land. This boss isn’t particularly powerful in terms of damage output, so you won’t take much harm from him. It’s essential to stay aggressive, as you only get three turns to handle him.

You get the Sergeant’s Magla Key upon successfully defeating Sergeant Xanth.

How To Defeat Master Sergeant Glechom In Metaphor: ReFantazio

Among all the managers in Charadrius, Glechom could be the toughest one to handle. You’ll find him nestled within the Port Corridor. Unlike others, he possesses no discernible weaknesses, but his temper is relatively easy to inflame. The Hulkenburg’s Knight Archetype has the ability to taunt this boss, compelling her to direct all her attacks towards it while your other party members concentrate on offense. The boss’s deafening Shriek can induce a Daze Status Effect on your team, significantly lowering their hit chances. This shriek marks the beginning of the battle, so if multiple party members become dazed in the initial skirmish, consider restarting the fight for a fresh attempt.

In the battle against Glechom, his main move is known as the “Retaliatory Strike,” which affects every member in your party. This attack inflicts significant damage, and if any of your party members are vulnerable to Physical attacks, the boss will have an opportunity to launch another strike. However, you can opt for the Gunner character class during this fight since its Piercing attacks deal a fair amount of damage.

  • Physical Strike
  • Physical Slash
  • Physical Pierce

As a dedicated fan, I must confess that battling the formidable foe in the Starboard Corridor is less about sheer challenge and more about strategic finesse. This boss has a soft spot for physical attacks, but don’t let your guard down! During his turn, he sets up a Mage Wall, a defensive barrier that blocks Slash, Pierce, and Strike attacks. To exploit his weakness, you’ll need to have mastered a Commander Archetype and possess the Heartbreak Strategem skill. Another viable option is using the Matterbreak Hammer item, which performs the same function. It’s all about strategy and patience in this fight!

How To Defeat Helmsman Cabio & Grand Chief Salva In Metaphor: ReFantazio

  • Electric (Cabio)
  • Physical Pierce (Salva)
Electric (Salva)

After crossing the bridge and causing the guards to exit the chamber, you’ll encounter both Cabio and Salva at once. The rule still applies that you need to defeat them within three turns. Cabio is vulnerable to electric abilities, whereas Salva weakens against physical piercing attacks. The Gunner class proves handy in this battle again. Prioritize defeating Cabio first, making sure not to target Salva with electric attacks as he shields himself from them.

Salva only uses Mage Almighty, which damages all party members but is still not that much of a threat, given that you have at least one Skill to heal the entire party. You get the Officer’s Magla Key upon successfully defeating Helmsman Cabio and Grand Chief Salva.
