In Resident Evil 9, opening the Warped Closets requires a special item, and finding it might be unexpected. This guide will tell you exactly when and how to unlock these closets, so you won’t have to worry about missing any hidden items.

How to Break Open Warped Closets in Resident Evil 9

In Resident Evil Requiem, only Leon can open the Warped Closets. You’ll need the Combat Axe – Leon’s standard melee weapon – to access what’s hidden inside. Without it, the closets will remain sealed.

If you’re playing as Grace, you don’t need to worry about the Warped Closets right away, but be sure to investigate them when you switch to playing as Leon. It’s helpful to mark them on the map as you find them, though – this will show Leon their locations and let him collect the items inside.
