As a seasoned Astro Bot player with countless hours under my belt and a collection of Bots that would put even the most dedicated collector to shame, I can confidently say that the ice seal sculpture in Creamy Canyon has been one of the most perplexing puzzles I’ve encountered yet. It took me several playthroughs to finally crack the code and uncover the secret area hidden beneath it.
Approaching the midpoint of the Creamy Canyon level, gamers playing Astro Bot will stumble upon an ice sculpture resembling a seal and a Puzzle Piece nearby. This statue is one of several hidden secrets within the game, but players will discover that punching it won’t crack it, no matter how much effort they put into it.
Initially, it appears as though we could gently dislodge the ice block from its pedestal, but this approach proves unsuccessful. Consequently, players of Astro Bot must discover an alternative method for shattering the ice seal in order to unlock the secret location concealed beneath it.
How to Break the Ice Seal in Astro Bot’s Creamy Canyon Stage
To initiate interaction in Creamy Canyon, players need to progress along the course until they encounter an enemy resembling a pig that rushes towards them. Once it charges, they should leap over it. By doing so, they can reach the back of the pig and seize its tail. This enables them to use the pig as a makeshift shotput, swinging it around before tossing it.
In this scenario, the plan is to toss the pig character against the nearby wall of ice and carry on towards the exit. However, if players decide to look back, they’ll discover they can instead throw the pig adversary at the ice seal. This action will shatter the seal. Following that, players can use the ladybug character to climb up to where the seal statue once stood, revealing a blue X on the ground.
If gamers position themselves on the blue X marker and press the Square key, Astro will build up a spinning punch by holding down the button. Once they release the button, Astro will dive into the ground. In this fresh location, players will discover a silver planet with a cord attached to its base, dangling from above.
Players need to tug on the string, leading the ball to pop open and reveal a platform. Once they stand on this platform, Astro will be transported to a hidden stage within the Lost Galaxy. Here, he can discover additional Bots and Puzzle Pieces. This is one of ten concealed exits scattered across Astro Bot. Completing these hidden exits is essential for players aiming to fully complete the game.
