Upon infiltrating the Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab during Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater – Delta, your mission becomes finding a suitable disguise to locate Sokolov. Specifically, you’re after Major Raikov, a man with a distinct look featuring a prestigious uniform and blond hair. However, apprehending him and obtaining his uniform won’t be simple. Fear not, though, as the video guide below offers easy steps to capture Raikov and acquire his uniform for disguise purposes.
How to Get the Raikov Disguise in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater
Upon reaching the West Wing of Groznyj Grad Weapons Lab, it’s advisable to don the Scientist disguise from your Camouflage inventory first. After putting on the Scientist outfit, walk up the stairs to your left, then take the initial door on the left through the corridor. This is the room Raikov will enter initially in his patrol route, so wait by the door and press R2 to create a disturbance, prompting Raikov to step out and investigate.
After Raikov leaves the room, deviate from his patrol path by moving towards the opposite side of the locked door and into the cafeteria area. However, before he exits, press Triangle/Y to execute a roll to make him more cautious and investigate. If successful, he’ll enter the room you’re in. In this moment, select an outfit with weapons equipped to prepare for close-quarters combat or take him down silently using a silenced weapon. Once Raikov is subdued or defeated, hold Square/X while pulling the Left Stick to carry him across the cafeteria and into the locker room. After a cutscene, you can switch to your Camouflage tab and equip the Uniform and Mask to move around as Major Raikov undetected.
If Raikov is proving hard to find for your rendezvous in the intended room, just track his regular patrolling path since he may take some time. Eventually, you’ll notice that he isolates himself upstairs, which provides an opportunity for players to move him into the locker room.
