Drampa is a Pokémon that combines Normal and Dragon types, first appearing in the Pokémon Sun and Moon games. It’s also featured in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, but you won’t be able to find it in the Wild Zones until you’ve progressed quite far into the game. If you want to add Drampa to your team early on, you’ll need to trade with a friend who already has one.
Here’s a guide on obtaining Drampa in Pokemon Legends: Z-A and how to Mega Evolve it using the Drampanite item.
How to Catch Drampa in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Drampa appears in Wild Zone 19 in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. You’ll need to progress to Main Mission 30 and achieve Rank B to unlock this area first. Later in the game, you can find an Alpha Drampa in Wild Zone 20, though it will be a more challenging encounter.
Drampa in Wild Zone 19 seems to only appear early in the morning. Players recommend waiting on a bench nearby until morning before entering the zone. We found it near the decorative gazebo in the center of the zone, but the area is small enough that it shouldn’t be hard to locate.
If it still doesn’t show up, try changing the time to daytime again and searching again.
How to Get Drampa’s Mega Stone (Drampanite) in Pokemon Legends Z-A

If you want to use Drampa in battle and Mega Evolve it, you’ll need to obtain a Drampanite.
You can buy the Mega Stone from Quasartico for 360 Mega Shards, which you earn by smashing the purple crystals found throughout Lumiose City with your Pokémon. If you don’t see it in the shop yet, you’ll need to continue playing the main story.
To make Drampa Mega Evolve, you need to give it the Mega Stone. Then, during battle, once the Mega Evolution gauge is full, press down on the right control stick to trigger the transformation!
