How To Get Mega Heatran in Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC

Mega is a tough opponent, and players need to defeat it in a special Rogue Mega Evolution Arena to earn its Mega Stone – just like with other Mega Evolutions in the game.

Players can battle this Legendary Pokémon as part of the Hyperspace Lumiose Survey Mission Nº4. If they win, they’ll be able to catch Heatran and get the Heatranite, which allows it to Mega Evolve.

This opponent uses powerful attacks that can easily defeat a full team of evolved Pokémon. It’s strongly advised that players obtain a level 75 Donut from Ansha before attempting this fight.

Mega Heatran is incredibly powerful. It has a total base stat of 700, which gives it great bulk and makes it a strong special attacker. Its impressive 175 base Special Attack makes it one of the top 5 strongest Pokémon in the game when considering special attack power.

Mega Heatran is a formidable Pokémon with access to incredibly strong Fire and Steel-type attacks, including Heavy Slam, Magma Blast, and Heat Wave. It can also learn Steel Beam, a particularly effective move in the current player-versus-player battles, which is available for purchase in Lumiose City.

Heatran, including its Mega Evolution, boasts powerful Special Attack-based Ground-type moves like Earth Power, and strong physical moves like Earthquake and Bulldoze. With its naturally high Attack stat (120), it excels as a versatile attacker, making it a serious threat capable of defeating almost any opponent.

To maximize Heatran’s performance in both player-versus-player (PvP) and player-versus-environment (PvE) battles, we recommend the following Effort Value (EV) spread: 252 Special Attack, 4 Special Defense, and 252 Speed. Speed is particularly important for Heatran, as it’s a bit slow, and in the new battle system of Legends Z-A, speed is crucial. If you prefer a more durable Heatran, you can substitute the Speed EVs for HP EVs.
