Where to Find Goomy in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Goomy is a rare Pokémon in *Pokémon Legends Z-A* because it only appears under specific conditions. You can only find it when it’s raining, and even then, it only spawns in a few hidden spots, which we’ll list below:

  • Jaune District – Saison Canalside, south of Justice Dojo (Below the Bridge)
  • Lumiose Sewers – Access Through Vert District after completing Side Mission 57 (The Camerupt Entrepreneur)
  • Lumiose Sewers – Access Through Magenta District (unlocked after completing Main Story Mission 20 (A Request from the Rust Syndicate)
  • Vert Sector 4 – Vert District, near the Cafe Classe Rooftop, next to the Fountain
  • Vert Sector 8 Rooftop, near the Hotel
  • Pier in Saison Canal (Next to the Binacle Boat Side Quest)
  • The corner of the hill overlooking Jaune Sector 12 and 10, tucked within the limits of the slope and Wild Area 6.

Goomy can appear in both the Jaune and Vert Districts, and if it does, it has a higher chance of being an Alpha Goomy. This means it will grow to be much larger and appear more impressive when it evolves into Goodra.

Players can ‘Spend Time’ sitting on a bench for several days until the weather changes into Rain.

How to Evolve Goomy in Pokemon Legends Z-A

In Pokemon Legends Z-A, you can evolve Goomy into Sliggoo by leveling it to 40 and then choosing ‘Evolve’ for it on the Part Menu (X). To get Sliggoo to evolve into Sliggo, you’ll need to level it up to 50 and either wait for a rainy day on the bench, or trigger rainy weather by completing Secondary Mission 64, ‘Let it Rain, Let it Pour’.

You can begin this optional mission after finishing the main story up to Mission 20. Look for it at the Rouge Sector 7 Battle Court in Lumiose City – that’s where many of these Pokémon battles take place. Talk to the character named Cielestine and choose the option that says ‘Wait until it rains.’ If your Sliggoo is level 50 or higher after winning the battle, it will evolve into Goodra.

Goodra is a solid Pokémon to use towards the end of the game. Its stats are comparable to powerful Pokémon like Dragonite, and it learns a wide variety of moves that can hit many different types of opponents effectively, such as Surf and Power Whip. It’s a good choice if you want to round out a well-balanced team.

Currently, evolving Sliggoo into Goodra using Misty Weather isn’t working as expected. Also, you won’t be able to find Hisuian Goodra in *Pokemon Legends Z-A*, as the game is limiting access to most regional forms.
