Snom, part of Generation 8 Pokémon family, is an adorable small creature, classified as an Ice/Bug-type larva species that thrives in cold climates and under the glow of the moon. This Pokémon can attain a maximum Combat Power (CP) of 597. With average stats (Attack: 76, Defense: 59, HP: 102), it is one of the Pokémon that requires the most effort to evolve. Snom transforms into Frosmoth after gathering 400 Snom Candy, during which process it significantly boosts its stats and Combat Power.

How to Get Snom in Pokemon Go
In simpler terms, Snom is a unique Pokémon that appears in both Ice and Bug categories, originally from the Galar region. In the game Pokémon GO, players can obtain Snom by hatching eggs that are 5 kilometers long. During the Cozy Companions event, Snom will be appearing more frequently when you hatch 7km Eggs. Since Snom is the featured Pokémon for this event, trainers should make the most of it by hatching many 7km Eggs while they can, as after the event ends, Snom will go back to being found in the regular 5km egg pool, but with normal hatch rates.
Snom can use Powder Snow or Struggle Bug as quick attacks, and Bug Buzz or Icy Wind as special moves. However, its move set isn’t particularly impressive, and when it evolves into Frosmoth, there aren’t many significant changes. The main difference is that Struggle Bug is swapped out for Bug Bite (a slightly improved quick attack), and Ice Beam and Hurricane are added to the list of special moves.

Given the substantial amount of Candy required to evolve Snom into Frosmoth (400), many players may find this process extremely challenging. As a result, it’s often more beneficial for them to keep this Pokémon and its evolutionary form primarily as collector’s items rather than competitive battlers in either PvP or PvE scenarios.
