In the game titled “Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time“, players have the opportunity to tailor their characters for a richer, immersive adventure through the world and task completion. A multitude of customization choices are available, ranging from skin tone to unique facial attributes such as freckles or beauty marks.
In the course of play, players may find themselves regretting the way they’ve designed their character and yearning to alter its features. Fortunately, should this be the case for those dissatisfied with the overall look or specific aspects, they can modify their character’s appearance within Fantasy Life.
How To Change Appearance In Fantasy Life i

In Fantasy Life I, you’ll need to advance in the story up to Chapter 3, specifically the “Digging Up Secrets of the Past” quest, in order to unlock the ability to alter a character’s appearance. During this quest, you assist Douglas in his transformation from Strangeling to human, which can be facilitated by the Goddess Statue at the Base Camp.
After employing the Bone Dragon for time travel, you’ll encounter a cutscene displaying the Guild Office building. Step inside to converse with everyone and grasp the details of the latest game mechanics they’ve introduced.

Kunugi updates you on the island’s recent developments and acts as your initial companion. Engage with Cooke to explore his offerings and discover ways to construct a dwelling for your friends at your camp. Afterward, deploy the structure and wait for its completion. Subsequently, re-enter the building and converse with Boyle, who will provide information about his services and assign Kunugi to the vacant house. It is only then that you can consider additional services from both Cooke and Boyle’s offerings. Notably, Boyle specializes in character customization within the game Fantasy Life.

Go meet Boyle and opt for the “Change Appearance” feature in “Fantasy Life 1”. This action transports you back to the exact character creation interface you encountered when the game initially started. In this setup, you have several sections to customize your character, such as:
1. Face
2. Hair
3. Body
4. Outfit
5. Accessories
6. Skills (optional)
- Face Types
- Body Types
- Hairstyles
- Eyes
- Eyebrows
- Noses
- Mouths
- Ears
- Facial Features
- Voices
Players are restricted from modifying their character’s names, as they remain constant throughout the gameplay. However, virtually anything else about their character can be customized without incurring any costs at Boyle’s desk located within the Guild Office at Base Camp. This includes changes to a character’s appearance without requiring Dosh or rare materials.
