While you can immediately purchase clothing from Lunelle’s shop in Starsand Island, other customization options like hairstyles and makeup are initially unavailable. You’ll need to complete the tutorial and a specific quest to unlock the full wardrobe feature. How to Change Your Appearance in Starsand Island
Become an Apprentice Rancher Quest
If you want to change how your character looks, you’ll first need to finish the “Become an Apprentice Rancher” quest. You can start this quest by talking to Pastelle, the ranching mentor who lives on the island. She’ll explain that Lunelle’s boutique needs samples of Rabbit Fluff, and she’ll need your help gathering them.
To get started, you’ll need Rabbits. First, build a Rabbit Hutch using Fiber and Softwood Planks before you get them. Once the hutch is placed on your land, add four Rabbits to it. Eventually, they’ll produce Fluff. Collect this Rabbit Fluff and deliver it to Lunelle at her shop.
Once you submit the item, Lunelle will give you a new outfit. This also unlocks the Wardrobe and Makeup apps on your phone, letting you customize your character’s look at any time.
Open the Wardrobe app on your phone and tap to try on your new outfit from Lunelle. Inside the app, you can mix and match different items like hats, shirts, pants, and complete outfits to create your perfect look.
To customize your character further, open the Makeup app. You can change things like your hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows there. When you’re finished, return to Pastelle. She’ll give you the Apprentice Rancher certificate, which completes the quest.
