Konami often releases Deluxe Editions of their games that include a few hours of early access. But preordering the Deluxe Edition of Silent Hill f gets you more than just that – it also unlocks a special costume and other in-game items that you can use relatively soon after starting the game.
This guide explains how players can unlock the bonus content from the Deluxe Edition of *Silent Hill f* and what they need to achieve in the game to do so.
How to Claim Deluxe Edition Content in Silent Hill f
When you start the game, you can begin a new game and select difficulty levels for both action sequences and puzzles. Keep in mind that your difficulty choice is permanent – you’ll need to start a new game if you want to play on an easier setting. If you own the Deluxe Edition and preordered, you’ll also be able to choose from three different costumes.
- Navy Sailor School Uniform
- White Sailor School Uniform
- Pink Rabbit Costume

Now that you’ve dealt with the outfits, there are still some items from the Deluxe Edition that you need to unlock by playing the game. When you preordered, the description mentioned finding these items at a Hokora. While that’s correct, you won’t find them at the very first Hokora you encounter after the opening. You’ll need to play through the beginning of the game and get past your first battles first. After that, you’ll find another Hokora where you can go to the ‘Bonuses’ section to claim your items.
- Omamori [Peony] – Slightly restores Health upon picking up food items
- Shriveled Abura-age – A type of Offering. Yields a great deal of Faith when enshrined.
- Divine Water – Fully restores current Max Sanity and reduces Sanity damage taken for a set time. Can be used as an Offering.
- First Aid Kit – Fully restores Health.

Okay, so I’ve been collecting a bunch of stuff, and I’ve figured out I can actually *use* these items! Or, if I don’t need them, I can donate them at the Enshrine. Doing that gets me Faith, which is super important because I can use Faith to get a random Omamori, or even upgrade my character later on. It’s a really cool system!
