Many players will recognize Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home, which started as a mobile game. It’s now available on PC and consoles as the HM HSH Special Edition. To celebrate its release, Natsume is offering a bonus for those who pre-order or buy the game early: a Care Package to help you begin your farm. Here’s how to get the Welcome Care Package in HM Home Sweet Home.
How To Claim Welcome Care Package In Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home (Pre-Order Bonus)

To get the Welcome Care Package in Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home, you’ll need to locate and download the digital content. It’s installed much like any downloadable content or extra game add-on.
After searching for the HM HSH pre-order package, find a way to download the content.

For instance, on Steam, players can go under the title and find Add to Library, then Download.
Once the digital content is installed, follow these steps to claim the Welcome Care Package:
- Save the game before heading to bed.
- Restart the game.
- Load the game, then head to bed.
- Check the mail the next day.

You’ll receive the HM HSH Welcome Care Package in your mailbox, sent by Willis – the father of a friend from your childhood in Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home.
Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home Pre-Order Bonus (Welcome Care Package)

The pre-order bonus for HM HSH is the same no matter where you buy the game, but how you claim it might vary by platform. As an example, on Steam, the Early Purchase Bonus Welcome Care Package for Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home Special Edition will be available from October 30th to November 20th, 2025.
The Care Package rewards are as such:
- 3000G
- 10 Turnip Seeds
- 10 Onion Seeds
- 10 Cabbage Seeds
- 10 Daisy Seeds
- 10 Marguerite Seeds
You can get all the starting rewards fairly early in the game, and the best part is they’re completely free – you won’t need to spend any real money. Plus, the extra 3000G will give your farm a great head start, letting you buy essential tools like a Hammer and Axe without spending as much time gathering resources. Even if you didn’t pre-order, don’t worry! The general store often has a sale on Spring 11, so you can still get items at a reduced price.
