In *Borderlands 4*, players will explore Terminus Range, encountering the native Augers and receiving their first quest from the Boss, who can be found at the Pit in the Low Leys. How to Enter The Boss’s Office

Where to Get Numba One’s Drink

When you reach The Pit in Terminus Range, the grapple hook on the ledge won’t lead to The Boss’s office. Instead, go right and talk to Numba One, a guard who’s thirsty from standing watch. You can get him a drink by speaking to Tipsy Olivia at the bar. Grab the drink – it’s an oil can on the left side of the bar – and bring it to Numba One. Throwing the can at him will hydrate him, causing him to move and allowing you to reach The Boss’s office.

Players can also go west from Numba One to The Pit’s balcony and use a double jump and glide to reach The Boss’s office, bypassing the need to assist Numba One. However, choosing either path doesn’t change anything in the game.

How to Find Another Way In to The Thirst Scrap

The Thirst Scrap Entrance Location

After meeting The Boss, you’ll be sent to the Thirst Scrap, located south of The Pit in the Low Leys. Once there, you’ll need to defeat the wild Manglers guarding the entrance before you can speak with Pickett. Pickett won’t trade at this location, so you’ll need to find a different way inside. Across from the Thirst Scrap, you’ll see a tall scaffolding tower. To reach the top, double jump and use your grapple hook. Once you’re up there, look south and down to find a small platform with a battery station. Grab the battery from the station using your grapple hook and carry it to the northwest part of the platform. You’ll find an empty slot next to the metal generators – place the battery inside to open the large door to the Thirst Scrap. You can then enter by gliding with your jetpack or using the provided grapple point. Inside, talk to Pickett Fenster to get your next instruction.

How to Find The Boss’s Mask

Once you’ve talked to Pickett Fenster at the Thirst Scrap, your next stop is Gilded Drop. Be warned – it’s full of enemies called Creeps! You’ll need to defeat them all to unlock the area and find the Boss’s mask. After clearing out the Creeps, go to the central shrine and look northeast. You’ll find a portable toilet with a body nearby. The Boss’s mask is hidden inside, sitting right on the toilet seat.

Now that you have the mask, return to the Pit, which is now full of Rippers. You’ll need to defeat all the Rippers outside, then inside. Finally, you’ll face Numba One, but don’t worry – he’s just a basic enemy with a fancy title. Once he’s defeated, go into the boss’s office and give him the mask to finish the quest.

To get the Boss’s mask, players need to continue following the main story and accept special missions from The Boss located in The Pit.
