Okay, seriously, when I first saw Salvatore in Crimson Desert, I did a double-take! He looks exactly like that amazing ‘Let Me Solo Her’ player from Elden Ring – you know, the one everyone loves! It’s wild to see that look on someone who’s actually a dangerous outlaw with a bounty out for him in this game. It’s a cool nod to the Elden Ring player, but definitely a different vibe!
Salvatore is one of nine wanted criminals players can hunt down in the starting area of Crimson Desert, Hernand. He’s the furthest from the prison, requiring players to travel over 3000 meters through mountains and fields to reach him. Here’s a guide to finding and capturing Salvatore.
How to Find and Capture Salvatore in Crimson Desert
- Salvatore’s bounty notice can be found in Hernand Town. Look for one of the many purple poster icons on the minimap to grab the poster from notice boards or pinned to wooden poles.
- Be sure to read Salvatore’s bounty document right on the spot or from the inventory to activate the quest so it becomes trackable via the Journal and on the Map.
- Salvatore can be found in Sunset Valley, located south of Hernand, below the Mountain of Frozen Souls, as seen on the map image above.
- Salvatore is the farthest bounty from Hernand, presumably taking the longest to complete, so keep that in mind. Fortunately, no mandatory combat is involved; Salvatore has no guards and won’t put up a fight when you try to approach and capture him.
- However, on the way to find and capture the outlaw, you’ll most likely be ambushed by numerous lesser Reed Demons hiding along the pathway. It’s possible to avoid the unwanted combat by simply sprinting away on your mount.
- Once in Sunset Valley, players can easily locate Salvatore in the small village with no guards. The outlaw may try to flee, so chase and tackle (X/A) him quickly, then punch him in the face three times until a prompt to tie the bounty appears.
- While players can’t use fast travel to quickly deliver bounties, it’s possible to load one bounty on the horse and carry another in hand when on horseback. With this tip, players may be able to deliver two bounties at the same time to speed up the bounty hunting process.
- All that’s left is to deliver Salvatore back to Hernand jail and let the guards deal with him, collecting your hard-earned reward of 12 Silver Coins and some Contribution Points. (If you kill him, it’s only 6 Silver Coins!)
Because Salvatore is located quite a distance from Hernand Town, we recommend checking out our guide to legendary horses and where to find them. These special horses are twice as fast and have twice the stamina of regular horses, making them incredibly useful for completing distant bounties.
