Let’s solve the Teleport Mirror puzzle, hidden deep within the Torture Museum in Tormented Souls 2, and learn how to use its teleportation powers.

The Teleport Mirror Puzzle in Tormented Souls 2 is hidden deep within the Torture Museum. To get there, you’ll first need to enter the Museum area itself. The entrance door is locked by a unique mechanism, and you’ll need to get the key from Joseph to open it.

Shortly after meeting him, he’ll ask you to retrieve the Cursed Book from a nearby Prison as a quick test. If you bring it back, he’ll reward you with the Museum Key.

Use the key to unlock the museum door and go inside. Walk around the upper level until you find a staircase. Take the stairs down, and once you’re at the bottom, turn Caroline to face the camera.

Tell her to go that way – towards the top left corner of the room. She’ll find a short hallway leading to the entrance of the Torture Museum. Once inside, she’ll be in a room filled with old torture devices that look like they’ve actually been used.

Continue past the Stretcher – it’s a puzzle linked to the mirror – until you reach a small staircase leading to a locked door. Go down the stairs and use your hammer to break the lock and open the door, as shown in the image.

Walk through the doorway to reach a room – the furthest south in the Torture Museum – that contains a rather unsettling mirror. The mirror’s frame is decorated with wax candles, and these candles are how you’ll solve the puzzle.

To solve the Teleport Mirror Puzzle in Tormented Souls 2, you have to light the right candles around the mirror with your Lighter. You don’t need to light all of them – just the specific ones required.

Like many puzzles in the game, you can discover visual clues hidden throughout the environment to help you find the solutions. For example, the chess notes on the library’s upper floor provide a hint for solving the Cryptex puzzle.

If you’re stuck on the Teleport Mirror puzzle, the clue is a painting in the Museum. You’ll find it on the wall to the left as soon as you enter. This is a really useful hint – it practically gives you the answer! It doesn’t quite spell everything out, but it’s very close.

To complete the Teleport Mirror Puzzle, light the candles in this order: start with the candle at the bottom left, then the one at the top left. After that, light the bottom three candles on the right side of the mirror. If you accidentally light the wrong candle, use the hand symbol to put it out.

After you finish this, a scene will play showing Caroline passing through the mirror into another world. This also earns you the Reflection trophy or achievement.

How To Use Teleport Mirror In Tormented Souls 2

The Teleport Mirror lets you travel to the Other Side, a dark reflection of the convent, almost like a ‘Hell’ version. Once there, you can explore twisted alternate versions of the Museum and Torture Museum, but be warned – enemies are hiding and waiting.

This area doesn’t have many useful items to collect, but the Other Side can help you with certain puzzles. For example, you’ll need to interact with the Stretcher to solve a puzzle and get the Metal Pipe.

You can find a different version of the Angel Statue puzzle from the Museum by going through the door up the short set of stairs to the left of the Stretcher.

You’ll find another mirror – head right from the Stretcher – that briefly takes you back to the real world inside the Torture Museum. It’s in a secret room with the Bronze Bull, and it gives you the Angel Heart, which you need to solve the Angel Statue puzzle.

So make sure you explore the Other World thoroughly and uncover all of its secrets!
