In the colorful realm of Eorzea within Final Fantasy 14, you’ll find numerous exciting experiences waiting. These special occasions unfold across seasons, offering players a chance to participate and enjoy. Some events are brief yet delightful, while others involve multiple activities and goals that can yield exclusive rewards for your character.

I’m thrilled to share that the Make it Rain Campaign has returned with a bang in Final Fantasy 14! Don’t miss out on this chance to visit the Gold Saucer and potentially strike it rich.

How to Start the 2025 Make it Rain Campaign Quest in Final Fantasy 14

In the digital world of Final Fantasy 14, the Make it Rain Campaign is an annual tradition that usually offers unique activities at the Manderville Gold Saucer. This year, though, your journey begins not in the usual spot, but rather in the city of Ul’dah where the event originates.

As a fan, I’d suggest this: “Head over to the main aetheryte and find the Ebullient Citizen NPC located at coordinates X:9.4, Y:9.1. You’ll spot them straight ahead and across the main concourse. Chat with them to accept the Level 15 ‘Royal Rumblings’ seasonal quest. If this quest or its NPC doesn’t appear on your map yet, complete one of the required Level 15 preliminary quests first for it to become available.

  • The Gridanian Envoy – Available from Kan-E-Senna in Old Gridania at Lotus Stand (X:6.2, Y:6.1)
  • The Ul’dahn Envoy – Available from Raubahn in Ul’dah – The Steps of Nald at (X:8.4, Y:8.9)
  • The Lominsan Envoy – Available from Merlwyb in Limsa Lominsa at Command Room (X:3.5, Y:3.4)

In the initial mission for ‘Royal Rumblings’, you’ll be directed to the Gold Saucer. There, locate Ollier who can be found at coordinates X:4.5, Y:7.0 in Entrance Square, close to the Triple Triad Tournament zone. After speaking with him, a puzzled interaction with “King Elmer III” will take place.

First, talk to three distinct characters in Wonder Square to collect information. After that, make your way back to Ollier located at coordinates (X:5.8, Y:5.9) near the main aetheryte. When you encounter him and he asks you to choose between two dialogue options, feel free to pick either one.

Subsequently, make your way to Event Square, seek out the designated spot (X:8.2, Y:5.1), which is located up on the second floor, slightly left of the Jumbo Cactpot drawing counter. Engage with it and be prepared for a cutscene to commence. Once the scene concludes, move towards the ‘Dropped Card’ that lies nearby on the ground and retrieve it. Head back down to Ollier at (X:6.8, Y:4.9) on the first floor and hand over the card to him.

Following the upcoming scene transition, head back to Entrance Square and position yourself at the specified spot (X:4.7, Y:6.9). Another cutscene will unfold, and upon completion of the final showdown, chat with Ollier for the last time to wrap up the quest.

All 2025 Make it Rain Campaign Rewards in Final Fantasy 14

In the Make It Rain 2025 Campaign, the primary benefits are unlocked by accomplishing the Royal Rumblings quest within Gold Saucer. Upon successful completion, an NPC named Ollier will reward you with a 4-Star King Elmer III Triple Triad Card and the amusing Overreact emote.

The Triple Triad Card will be placed in your collection, which you can access directly. To incorporate it into your own set, simply select the option to “utilize” it from your inventory. Don’t forget that you can review your collected Triple Triad Cards at any time by choosing the ‘Gold Saucer’ option found within the ‘Character’ drop-down menu’s lower region. In the meantime, your character will immediately have access to the Overreact emote through the ‘Emotes’ menu in the ‘Social’ tab. Unlike other items, there’s no need to “utilize” it as a consumable from your inventory.

Additionally, you have the opportunity to collect rewards from past versions of the event at a lower price by visiting the Campaign Attendant NPC located in Entrance Square at coordinates X:5.4, Y:6.3.

During this year’s Make it Rain Campaign, just like before, there’s a bonus waiting for you. Instead of an active boost, it’s a 50% increase in all MGP rewards earned within the Gold Saucer. This includes popular activities like the daily Mini-Cactpot and GATE instances. So, if you’ve been saving up MGP for future prizes, this is the perfect opportunity to amass a large amount quickly.

How Long Will the 2025 Make it Rain Campaign in Final Fantasy 14 Last?

Just like other occurrences in Final Fantasy 14, the Make it Rain Campaign won’t last forever within the game. So, don’t miss out on the benefits and prizes related to MGP during this time.

From May 19th to June 11th, 2025, the Make it Rain Campaign will run for approximately three weeks. After the event finishes, the passive MGP bonus will no longer be active, and the related quest offering emotes and Triple Triad card rewards will disappear. Additionally, the discount on certain items provided by the Campaign Attendant during the event will revert to their regular prices.
