As a gamer, here’s how I would explain it:

First off, to grab the Balmung Elemental Sword, I need two items. The first one is the Raven Bastard Sword, which I can get by interacting with the Raven Knight Statue in the Dining Hall. I just need to offer it a Stamp to obtain the sword.

The second item I need is an Antiquity, and that’s tucked away in the Alchemical Lab. So, I’ll have to search for it there. For those playing in Directed Mode, the locations of both items will be marked on-screen for convenience.

After getting an Antiquity on Citadelle Des Morts, players are required to set off the Summoning Circle to get hold of the Balmung Elemental Sword.
