As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent traversing the mystical landscapes of Enshrouded, I can confidently say that the Eternal Fireball spell has become my go-to offensive tool in this captivating world. The convenience of having an endless supply of fire damage, without worrying about crafting staff charges, is simply unparalleled.
In the game “Enshrouded“, there’s a range of offensive spells players can choose from, and if you’re seeking something straightforward yet effective, consider the time-tested Fireball spell. This spell launches an explosive missile that inflicts significant damage over a decent space, making it an excellent asset for tackling large groups.
However, constantly crafting staff charges in Enshrouded is going to be a pain, and if you don’t want to bother with collecting resources for regular Fireball, then the Eternal Fireball spell is your best alternative. Here’s how to get it.
How to Craft the Eternal Fireball Spell in Enshrouded
The Eternal Fireball is crafted directly from the Alchemist, but before you can make it, you need to meet a couple of conditions. First, you’ll need to unlock the Alchemy Station for the Alchemist, which can be done by completing the Black Cauldron for the Alchemist quest. This quest takes place in the Nomad Highlands, the same region where you get Fossilized Bones in Enshrouded.
Second, you’ll need to be able to find and/or make the following:
- 3 Bronze Bars
- 50 Amber
- 30 Charcoal
To create the Eternal Fireball charm, first, set up an Alchemy Station and gather some Bronze Bars. Once you have these items in your stockpile, look for the recipe in the Alchemist’s crafting menu. This is where you will find instructions to make the spell.
You don’t necessarily need to complete the Black Cauldron quest. As long as you have Bronze Bars and an Alchemy Station at your base, you should be able to make the Eternal Fireball spell even without doing the quest at the Nomad Highlands.
What Does Eternal Fireball Do?
As a gamer, I’d say, “The Eternal Fireball isn’t like your typical Fireball spells; it doesn’t require any Spell or Staff charges. That means you can unleash the Eternal Fireball anytime without worrying about running out of uses. Once equipped, it’s yours to keep, unless I meet my end in this game or choose to discard it myself.
Instead of standard Fireballs, the Everlasting one deals a bit more damage (76) but consumes more mana and requires additional time for casting. However, given the resource savings in the long run, it’s a reasonable exchange. Mage players in Enshrouded should aim to accumulate as many Everlasting spells as possible, enabling them to adjust their strategies according to the elemental vulnerabilities and resistances of adversaries.
In shrouded zones, fire-based attacks are particularly useful against beasts and Fell monsters. However, scavengers tend to be resistant to this kind of damage, so it’s more efficient to employ other forms of elemental attacks against them instead.
