Refined Palmar Pills give you a powerful advantage in challenging boss battles in Crimson Desert. They let you fully revive after being defeated, restoring your health to 100%, which is a significant improvement over the standard Palmar Pills that only restore 30%.
You can make Refined Palmar Pills once you get the crafting recipe from Ascetic’s Rest, a locked area in the Abyss that becomes accessible during Chapter 9 of the main quest at Jijeong Temple Pagoda. Here’s everything you need to know to craft these pills and achieve immortality.
How to Get the Refined Palmar Pills Blueprint in Crimson Desert
- You can get the Refined Palmar Pill Blueprint during/after Chapter 9: The Stage of the Desert.
- The specific quest that allows you to get the Refined Palmar Pill Blueprint is “Face the Inner Self” in the “Six Statues and the Beast” subchapter, in which you will be tasked with heading to the Abyss through the Jijeong Temple Pagoda.
- Once you reach Ascetic’s Rest as part of the main story, you can head around to the top of the stairs to find a bench on the right that contains the Refined Palmar Pill Blueprint and some Refined Palmar Pills to pick up.
How to Craft & Use Refined Palmar Pills in Crimson Desert
- You can craft Refined Palmar Pills at Cauldrons, and you can find one in Hernand Town in the building marked on the map above.
- Below, you’ll find the recipe and where you can gather ingredients:
| Ingredient | How to Get | Map Location |
|---|---|---|
| Longhorn x1 | Obtained by killing and skinning Longhorn animals, who spawn frequently by the river north of the “R” in “Hernand”. |
|
| Palmar Leaf x1 | Found by collecting the glowing green leaves by the waterfall in the Mountain of Frozen Souls, south of Hernand. |
|
| Palmar Beetle x1 | Found inside the glowing green leaves by the waterfall in the Mountain of Frozen Souls, south of Hernand. |
|
| Water x1 | Purchased from the Grocer in Hernand Town. |
|
You can find both Palmar Leaves and Palmar Beetles in the same location, and they’ll reappear about once a week in the game. Plus, you don’t actually need Ginseng to make the recipe – Longhorn is a much simpler ingredient to use instead.
