Using Tranq Bombs

A Tranq Bomb can be an effective choice for taking down enemies, but you should be mindful of the need to get close. Prior to approaching the monster, ensure it’s in a state ready for capture. When you use a Tranq Bomb from your inventory, it will land at your feet and detonate into a small puff of gas, influencing anything nearby your hunter. How To Craft Tranq Ammo In Monster Hunter Wilds

There are two options for Tranq Ammo to craft:

Tranq Blade Tranq Bomb + Throwing Knife (You always have an infinite supply of these)
Tranq Ammo Tranq Bomb + Normal Arrow (You always have an infinite supply of these)

In simpler terms, both the Tranq Ammo for the Bowgun and the Tranq Blades for the Slinger function similarly to what you might call another type of Tranquilizer Bomb because you don’t have to gather additional materials for either one. They are equally effective if used correctly on your target. The main difference is that the Tranq Ammo is fired from a Bowgun, while the Tranq Blades can be utilized with any primary weapon by loading them into your Slinger.
