How to Cure Injuries in Mewgenics

In Mewgenics, you’ll lead an army of cats into battle against strange and powerful enemies as you explore beyond your starting area. During fights with bosses and tougher opponents, your cats will sometimes take a lot of damage and get injured. These injuries affect how well they fight, but don’t worry – you can heal your injured cats in Mewgenics.

How to Heal Injuries in Mewgenics

You can heal your cats during a run by finding and using the Super Bandage. It can be used four times before disappearing, and you can equip it to any cat through the ‘Items’ menu. You can find this menu – it looks like a small bag – at the top of the screen both on the map during a run and while you’re at home.

You can also heal your cats during battles with the ‘Revive’ ability. This ability is special to the ‘Cleric’ collar, which you unlock by finishing ‘The Alley’ quest and talking to Butch through the ‘Pipe’ menu at home. Once a cat is wearing the ‘Cleric’ collar and has learned ‘Revive’, it can bring a fainted cat back to life, restoring half of their health and fixing any injuries they have.

There are two reliable ways to help a cat heal from an injury. While a cat might sometimes recover on its own at home – if it rests and avoids fights – this is uncommon. To help with natural healing, make sure your cat is comfortable and doesn’t spend too much time in an unpleasant environment, or with cats it doesn’t get along with.

How Do Cats Get Injured in Mewgenics?

Cats can be injured both during outdoor adventures if they take too much damage and during fights at home. Cats with lower Constitution are more easily hurt and recover slower after battles, making them vulnerable if you’re not careful.

To keep your cats from fighting, make sure every room in your house feels comfortable and safe for them. Cats are more likely to fight if they feel uncomfortable or stressed. Fights can also happen if cats are trying to mate with the same partner, which is why they sometimes start suddenly at night. If you see two cats fighting repeatedly, separate them immediately by putting them in different rooms.
