How to Distract Chica in Five Nights At Freddy's: Into the Pit

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for the macabre, I can attest to the nail-biting tension that Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit brings. Night 2’s encounter with Chica, the feathery menace, has left me both terrified and intrigued. Her weakness for food, a seemingly innocuous detail, becomes our key to unlocking the kitchen and rescuing the trapped victims.

In the second night of “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit”, Oswald is faced with impediments as he endeavors to investigate the pizzeria and save the Yellow Rabbit’s captives. However, there’s a hindrance known as “The Bird” that complicates matters. Chica the Chicken has taken refuge in the kitchen along with one of the trapped children, necessitating our strategy to entice her out if we wish to free them.

During Oswald’s initial meeting with Chica, she appeared momentarily preoccupied when he accidentally spilled his lunch. This aspect of her character is crucial for players of “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit” to understand, as it shows that Chica has a strong affection for food. If food is left unattended, she will pick it up and transport it to her personal “Trash Nest” in the Party Hallway. To access the Kitchen, we must exploit this trait to our benefit.

How to Get the Trapped Rat

To successfully arrange everything we require, there’s a vital item we must acquire first. Let’s start by making our way to the Mill and retrieving the Rat Trap. Subsequently, we’ll need a Rat. You can find one in the Party Hallway, but it’s only available in an earlier version of the Pizzeria. To access this area, jump into the Ball Pit and discreetly move towards the Party Hallway. Once there, go to the right side where the Rat will scurry into a vent. After it leaves, interact with the spot beneath the vent (as shown in picture 2 above) to set the trap. To trigger the rat’s appearance, we must exit the room. The most convenient and secure way to do this is by utilizing the left-side vent to climb over to the basement, then quickly return. A “SNAP” message will appear on screen when the trap goes off.

Head back to the Party Hallway to gather a rat in a cage. Now that we’ve collected our little Pocket Rat, it’s time to find something for Chica to eat.

How to Get a Pizza Slice

As a pizza enthusiast, I’m about to execute our masterful plan, and the crucial ingredient is none other than a piping hot slice of pizza! Sadly, the local pizzeria has run out, leaving us with no choice but to return to Jeff’s place. Fingers crossed he’ll be willing to share a slice with us, eh? Too bad Jeff only sells whole pizzas after lunch; I guess we’re in for a little “borrowing” adventure from his kitchen if we want that mouthwatering slice!

1. Make your way to the woman having lunch in the dining room, then set free the mouse you’ve captured to cause a commotion. Take advantage of the distraction by sneaking into the kitchen and swipe a slice of cheesy food from the counter. Now we’re ready to create a diversion and enter the kitchen with Chica.

How to Distract Chica

After we’ve secured some pizza, let’s return to the Past Hallway. Slip the slice into Chica’s Waste Corner. Then, conceal yourself under a close-by table and wait for her to depart to eat it. Once she starts eating, make your way quietly to the kitchen entrance and enter.
