The Mega Dimension DLC brings over 120 new Pokémon to Pokémon Legends: Z-A, with Annihilape’s evolution line being a standout addition. Annihilape is a Fighting and Ghost-type Pokémon, and some players might need a reminder of how to evolve it.
This guide will show you exactly where to find Mankey, how to evolve it into Primeape, and finally, how to get Primeape to become Annihilape. Here’s a step-by-step explanation.
How to Get Mankey in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Mankey Location
Mankey appears in the post-game content of the Mega Dimension DLC for Pokemon Legends: Z-A within 1-Star Fighting-type Hyperspace Wild Zones. You can also encounter Mankey at the very beginning of the DLC. If you don’t catch one during that initial sequence, these 1-Star Hyperspace Wild Zones are your only other chance.
Each Hyperspace Wild Zone in the Mega Dimension always starts with three Pokémon. However, in Fighting-type Hyperspaces, the specific Pokémon you want might not always appear. You can see which Pokémon are currently available in a Wild Zone by checking the icons and shapes shown on the map.
Hyperspace Wild Zones can be rerolled by waiting at a bench and changing the time of day.
How to Evolve Primeape into Annihilape in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Annihilape Evolution Method
Mankey becomes Primeape at level 28. To evolve Primeape into Annihilape in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, you need to use the move Rage Fist 20 times. Primeape learns Rage Fist naturally at level 35, so you can start evolving it then.
- Catch a Mankey in a 1-Star Hyperspace Wild Zone (Fighting-type).
- Level up Mankey to level 28 and evolve it into Primeape.
- Level up Primeape to level 35 and have it learn the move Rage Fist from the move relearning menu.
- Use Rage Fist 20 times.
- Evolve Primeape into Annihilape.
Use Rare Candies/EXP. Candies to make the level up process faster.
How to Use Rage Fist 20 Times
The quickest way to use Rage Fist 20 times is by repeatedly hitting the target dummy in the Justice Dojo. While you can also go to low-level Wild Zones where Pokémon won’t hurt your Primeape, the dummy method is much faster.
