How to Evolve Toxel into Toxtricity in Pokmon Legends ZA Mega Dimension

The Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A introduces new Pokémon to the game, letting players catch and use them. One of these Pokémon, Toxtricity, comes in two different styles: Amped and Low Key.

This guide will show you where to find Toxel and how to evolve it into its different forms. If you’re aiming to complete the Pokedex in PLZA, you’ll need to catch both types of Toxtricity, so here’s everything you need to know.

How to Get Toxel in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Toxel Location

You can find Toxel in 2-Star Hyperspace Wild Zones that feature Electric-type Pokémon in the Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Look for a 2-Star zone with a silhouette similar to the one pictured above – you’ll usually find a large group of Toxel there.

Toxel evolves differently depending on its unique personality, which it has from the start and can’t be altered. Because of this, it’s smart to catch several Toxel whenever you can.

It’s also possible to directly catch Toxtricity in 4-Star Hyperspace Wild Zones (Electric-type).

Toxel Evolution Method

Toxel becomes Toxtricity at level 30, but there are actually two different forms it can take: Amped Toxtricity and Low Key Toxtricity. Which form Toxel evolves into depends on its nature.

The following table details what natures will result in which Toxtricity form when Toxel evolves:

Toxtricity Form Nature(s)

Toxtricity Amped Form

  • Adamant
  • Jolly
  • Lax
  • Naive
  • Naughty
  • Rash
  • Quirky
  • Sassy
  • Brave
  • Docile
  • Hardy
  • Hasty
  • Impish

Toxtricity Low Key Form

  • Lonely
  • Bold
  • Relaxed
  • Timid
  • Serious
  • Modest
  • Mild
  • Quiet
  • Bashful
  • Calm
  • Gentle
  • Careful

You can’t change a Toxel’s inherent nature, and it will always evolve into a specific form of Toxtricity. Mints only temporarily apply the effects of a different nature to a Pokémon – they don’t actually alter its default nature. For example, giving an Adamant Toxel a Modest Mint won’t change it into a High Key Toxtricity; it will still become a Low Key Toxtricity, but with a temporary boost to Special Attack and a decrease to Attack.
