In Monster Hunter Wilds, one of the initial resources you’ll come across is honey. This sweet, amber substance plays a crucial role as it’s needed for crafting Mega Potions, which have the power to restore substantial health. The challenge arises when you find yourself low on supplies and need to gather more.

How to get more Honey

In Monster Hunter Wilds, you can harvest Honey abundantly by exploring the Scarlet Forest during a Season of Plenty. Several locations on the forest’s eastern side are teeming with Honey during this season. Look for it in Area 7; you should find approximately eight pieces there (keep an eye out as Wudwud might also be collecting some).

Over the course of playing the game, you’ll eventually stumble upon Non-Player Characters (NPCs) who will collect materials for you. This is part of a new system we’ve introduced called ‘Material Gathering’.

  • Rysher in Sild, The Keepers’ Vigil in Ruins of Wyveria
  • Apar in Suja, Peaks of Accord
  • Plumpeach in Wudwud Hideout in Scarlet Forest

Whenever these Non-Player Characters (NPCs) offer you a mission, try to finish it promptly so they can become your Material Retrieval contacts. Speak with them and ask them to find some Honey for you, ensuring that you’ll always have an ample supply. You may also request other items from their list, but keep in mind the likelihood of finding those items is indicated by a star; more stars mean a higher probability.
