In the land of Bohemia lies a vast expanse, brimming with countless valleys, meadows, settlements ranging from towns to cities, and everything in between. In the sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the action unfolds within Bohemia, specifically in two significant regions – Trosky and Kuttenberg. These areas are vast and intricately detailed with numerous points of interest scattered throughout. Traversing these regions on foot or horseback can consume hours upon hours. Yet, swift travel between known locations is possible thanks to the fast-travel feature. Here, we’ll show you how to use fast travel in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
How to Fast Travel in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, it’s possible to quickly move between identified spots. As you traverse the realm of Bohemia in KCD2, you’ll uncover key locations such as towns and villages. Unveiling these significant locations will grant you access to quick travel points within those areas. These quick travel points are indicated on the map by a blue icon.
Once you’ve activated any fast-travel spot, you can quickly teleport there from various locations, with the exception of indoor areas. To do this, just navigate to your map and click on the point using LMB (PC) or press X (PS5). A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you want to move to the chosen location. Click ‘accept’ and Henry will initiate his journey to the specified spot. You’ll notice a visual representation of your route similar to a board game. Remember that important stats like Nutrition and Energy will decrease during fast travel.
Occasionally during Henry’s rapid journeys, various occurrences might present themselves. These could range from running into bandits, coming across a destitute beggar, discovering an empty camp where he can take a break and prepare meals, among other things. As these situations arise, Henry will pause, and you’ll have the choice to either carry on towards the fast travel destination or halt there. If Henry is confronted by adversaries, then you’ll have the option to either retreat or engage. Some instances offer a good chance of escaping, while others do not. Therefore, if your escape attempt fails, it means you’ll need to battle the enemies or make a run for it on your own.
Things to Keep in Mind for Fast Traveling in KCD2
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, there are instances when rapid traveling isn’t an option for your character Henry. If he’s carrying too much weight or is under the influence of poison, you’ll need to lighten his load or cure the poison before you can use this feature. During missions, if you’re stuck in a location where you must wait or are required to save someone, fast travel is also unavailable.
