In Pokémon Legends Z-A, you can quickly travel between different areas of Lumiose City once it’s unlocked. However, when you start a new game, fast travel isn’t available right away. You’ll need to explore the city on foot until you progress far enough in the story.

I’m really glad it doesn’t take long to unlock fast travel in *Pokemon Legends Z-A*! It makes getting around the city and to places like the Wild Zones so much quicker and easier. I was looking up how it works, and here’s what I found out about unlocking fast travel in the game.

How to Unlock Fast Travel in Pokemon Legends Z-A

In *Pokemon Legends Z-A*, players can’t fast travel until they finish the first proper Battle Zone and get a Challenger’s Ticket. Luckily, this is a natural part of the story – completing this Battle Zone is the main goal of the fourth Main Mission, “Battling In The Z-A Royale.” You won’t need to go out of your way to unlock fast travel.

Once you’ve earned a Challenger’s Ticket by winning against three trainers in the Battle Zone, you’ll need to head to the Pokémon Center to find Zach, who will be your first opponent in a Promotion Match. As you do, you’ll learn about the Fast Travel system, which will then become available in the map menu.
