As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that High-Suction Hero has been a real treat. It’s not often we come across a game that combines platforming, puzzle-solving, and a touch of humor quite as effectively as this one does.
In the game Astro Bot, the High-Suction Hero level isn’t typically encountered as you play through or uncover secrets within the various galaxies. Instead, this unique level belongs to the Lost Galaxy world, which can only be accessed by locating a secret exit in another level first.
Unlike the typical planets in the game, the High-Suction Hero only requires rescuing five bots (rather than seven) and has two puzzles pieces (instead of three). Most of these can be found with ease, but a few may elude you if you’re not vigilant. Here are the positions of all bots and puzzle pieces in the High-Suction Hero level of Astro Bot.
How To Find High-Suction Hero Lost Galaxy Level
In the game Lost Galaxy, the High-Suction Hero level isn’t automatically included in the main storyline and needs to be found separately. To access it, you must first accomplish the Djinny of the Lamp level, which is situated within the Feather Cluster star system.
Following the conquest of the Djinny, players should explore the rear section of the open expanse. Here, the ground will illuminate beneath their feet. Utilizing your canine companion’s skill, leap and thrust Astro towards the unseen platforms floating above the stone. You can use Astro’s double jump to reach the first platform, but you’ll need your dog for the second one. Once on the platform, punch and land on the magic carpet, then tug the rope beneath the disco ball to activate the High-Suction Hero level.
High-Suction Hero Bot #1
Initially, you can’t overlook the first robot, since it’s conspicuously positioned on the ledge while scaling the rock wall. This robot will show up only after players have acquired their elephant companion and utilized its suction ability to generate platforms. You’ll then come across a towering floral adversary that generates additional enemies until you jump onto a platform to knock it out. Immediately following the elimination of the flower, create a platform over the geyser and employ the steam to traverse up the rock wall. Upon reaching the peak, leap, make another platform, then leap again and rescue the bot.
High-Suction Hero Puzzle Piece #1
Just after saving my first mechanical bloom, gamers will run into a towering floral foe number two that we’ve got to eliminate. After handling that, two geysers pop up to help Astro ascend to the next segment of the level. However, the one nestled near the wall won’t get us high enough initially. To remedy this, construct a platform over the geyser on the left to divert the pressure towards the rear one, then fashion another platform above it and make your way up. Once you reach the top, before leaping onto the trampoline, jump and build another platform, followed by another one right after – voila! The first puzzle piece will be waiting for you there.
High-Suction Hero Bot #2
In the High-Suction Hero level’s second robot, you’ll encounter a character modeled after VIP bots inspired by renowned PlayStation series, specifically, the famous Killzone series. Unfortunately, this bot is abducted by a UFO, so your mission is to vanquish the adversaries, liberate a mechanism from another UFO holding it captive, and utilize your elephant companion’s bouncy platforms to ascend. Once you reach the top, employ another bouncy platform (you might need to replenish by shattering the cube on the left) to assault the UFO and free the bot.
High-Suction Hero Puzzle Piece #2
In High-Suction Hero, players advance through the game before stumbling upon the second and last puzzle piece. This puzzle piece is part of a spinning rock formation, making it somewhat elusive. As players traverse the ice ramps and skate on the platforms, they’ll eventually reach a red platform with various types of platforms (concrete, bouncy, and icy) surrounding it. At this juncture, you can decide to go either left or right. To collect the puzzle piece, however, you should opt for the right path.
To reach the top of the first platform, use the yellow liquid as your trampoline while avoiding attacks from the icy adversary. Once you’ve landed on a spinning satellite-like device, collect the cement fluid that awaits you there. Keep an eye out for a puzzle piece that will appear at the bottom half of the rock; when it does, leap towards it and construct a cement platform to snatch the puzzle piece before hopping onto the rock itself.
High-Suction Hero Bot #3
To obtain the third High-Suction Hero bot, you have two paths:
Following crossing over on the spinning stone, players should defeat the bowl foe and gather the cement from it. Subsequently, creating a cement platform becomes essential for reaching the initial satellite, after which jumping allows the creation of two additional cement platforms to get to the robot.
High-Suction Hero Bot #4
In this game level, the fourth robot might be challenging to spot because it’s not immediately apparent where it is. To locate it, move under the rocket ship that’s near the end of the stage, and check out the thrusters. You’ll notice the robot’s head poking out in a fluster – just jump and press Square to rescue it from its tight spot.
High-Suction Hero Bot #5
Similar to the initial robot, it’s hard to overlook the final one since it’s clearly visible as you advance through the level.
