During your voyage through Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, you’ll discover numerous optional missions to engage in, keeping you occupied throughout your adventure. Among these, Branded And Exiled presents a straightforward yet fulfilling quest line. As you traverse the Horns of the South, you’ll encounter many bandits lurking on the roads, a significant menace plaguing the region.
By conversing with Rhosyn, you’ll clearly understand the brutality of these outlaws. Her husband, Morris, was abducted by a ruthless bandit known as Bald Cait. Your task is to aid in the search and rescue mission for Rhosyn’s husband before it’s too late.
How To Start Branded And Exiled
To embark on your journey, first locate Rhosyn who resides in the southwestern area of the map. He can be found beyond the Horns of the South fortress, which is situated in the village.
Traverse the meandering pathway that circles the periphery of the fortress, then descend the seemingly endless spiral steps to get to the village area below.
As soon as you go past the village gate, make a left turn towards the southwest. Continue along the path, and you’ll find yourself right at Rhosyn’s house.
After exiting the village gate, take a left (southwest) turn immediately. Keep following the path, and it will lead you straight to Rhosyn’s residence.
Ask her for information regarding her husband who has gone missing, assuring her that there’s hope he might still be alive, contrary to her deepest concerns. This is where the “Branded and Banished” journey commences.
How To Save Morris & Defeat Bald Cait
Unfortunately, Morris, her husband, is currently stationed with Bald Cait, whose encampment is situated in The Mill at the Deserted Village, towards the eastern region.
Make your way towards the Deserted Settlement, situated to the east of the Forgotten Fortress and northwest of the Shattered Watchtower.
Cleanse this region of the outlaws and swiftly proceed to The Mill next, then venture indoors and forcefully push through to Bald Cait’s lair. Downstairs, you’ll find Cait and her allies ready for battle.
Preparing for this battle could prove difficult, much like facing Senan the Giant. Make sure you’re well-stocked with healing elixirs, and don’t forget to consume any boosting elixirs prior to engaging in combat.
Cait is a relentless enemy who keeps attacking unless you manage to stun her first. Try to dodge as many of her attacks as possible, and counter-attack from afar, whittling down the number of enemies until only Cait is left standing.
After overcoming Cait, I rummage through her belongings to secure her head as a trophy, not forgetting to grab Bald Cait’s Tunic, 77 gold pieces, a Branding Iron, a pair of Leather Gloves, Leather Pants, and some Sturdy Leather Boots in the process.
After obtaining her head, communicate with Morris and set him free from confinement. Then, provide him with Bald Cait’s Head and return him to the Southern Horns.
You might remember that it’s dangerous and potentially lethal to have a recognizable brand, making Morris especially in need of Bald Cat’s aid rather than you.
Once you’ve finished at The Mill, head back up and make your way out of the Abandoned Village.
What Rewards Do You Get From Branded And Exiled?
After speaking with the reunited couple, they will express their gratitude for your help and present you with rewards from both of them.
You’ll receive 1,500 total exp and 250 coins for your efforts.
