Where to Find the Sarcophagus Key in Avowed
In the game of Avowed, players searching for the Sarcophagus Key should understand that it’s hidden within the Garden, as each region in Avowed is essentially independent and you can only discover items specific to the current region. So, if you come across the Sarcophagus, rest assured that the Sarcophagus Key isn’t too far away.
While navigating the Garden, you’ll find a distinct chamber featuring a tiny, flawlessly circular water pool that can’t be overlooked since it lies on the primary path. As you progress, you’ll recognize Kai’s hallucination chamber by the presence of Tama on the bed. Upon reaching this chamber, brace yourself for an immediate surprise attack from Skeletons and Moon Spiders.
Once I’ve swept the chamber clean, I proceed towards the distant door at its end. Beyond that door lies a plunge into a deep aquatic abyss. Further down, I’ll encounter a junction where I must choose between right and left. In this instance, I recommend taking the left path.
As you arrive, look for a tiny cliff where you can ascend. From this vantage point, notice there’s a big thorny bush obstructing the way out. Burn it off using any available fire technique. If you happen to have Kai with you, utilize his power. Otherwise, employ a Magran’s Fury grenade. Once the bush is eliminated, you’ll need to establish an icy platform of water to traverse the water and get to the exit.
After leaving the cave via its exit, avoid jumping from the ledge. Instead, take a left turn immediately upon exiting, and you’ll discover the Sarcophagus Key beside a deceased figure. This key is crucial for obtaining one of the most valuable items in Avowed.
How to Use the Sarcophagus Key in Avowed
If you didn’t find the rock sarcophagus in the Garden earlier, we’ll guide you on how to locate it now. To uncover the treasure, begin your search from the main camp known as the Enclosed Grove Camp, which you will come across in the Garden.
Beginning at Adra Waystone, rotate towards the southwest direction. The entrance you initially used to get to the Party Camp will be visible in front of you. Pass back through that entrance, then veer left and descend the staircase.
Upon reaching the bottom of the stairs, you’ll notice a cozy nook bathed in a golden radiance emanating from within. Move towards the rear of this recess, and you’ll stumble upon a Sarcophagus guarded by the Sarcophagus Key. Inside lies the Spiritmender Armor, an exceptionally potent collection of medium-sized legendary armor.
