In the intriguing expanse of Southern Paradis, there’s a board that offers enticing bounties – capture the designated targets, bring back a souvenir, and you’ll be generously rewarded!

One such target is an imposing spider boss named Nacib, nestled deep within the Ruinous Cavern of Dawnshore. Here’s a guide on how to locate this elusive bounty and bring it to justice in Avowed.

How to Find Nacib Bounty Target

In the game Avowed, players can discover the Nacib Spider Boss situated on the western wall of Paradis, east of Ivona’s Threshold. To find this boss, you’ll need to venture into its corresponding dungeon and search within for the boss. Here’s a guide on how to get to the Nacib spider boss:

1. Navigate your way to Paradis in the game world.
2. Look for Ivona’s Threshold nearby, which should be east of your current position.
3. Once you find Ivona’s Threshold, head west along the wall of Paradis.
4. Continue moving west until you come across the entrance to the dungeon where the Nacib Spider Boss is located.
5. Enter the dungeon and explore its depths until you locate the boss.

Make sure you pick up all items and open every treasure chest on your journey, as this will help you earn the highest possible rewards while on the bounty hunt.

  1. After entering the Ruinous Cavern, move further inside and eliminate all the spiderling minions in the main cavern.
  2. Before progressing further, look towards the right, and you’ll spot a wall of web that can be taken down with Kai’s Firestarter companion ability (or fire spells). Head inside and jump down the ledge on the right to grab the Steel Garrote Medallion, a unique accessory.
  3. Return to the main cavern and head straight ahead, down the slope, to find a hole blocked by webs. Use fire skills to burn the webs again and drop down into a pool of water.
  4. Exit the pool and keep going forward. Burn another webbed pathway and keep following the caverns until you reach a large chamber with several spiderlings inside. This is the arena where Nacib will spawn.

How to Beat Nacib Spider Boss in Avowed

Upon stepping into the battlefield, you’ll need to overcome each of the smaller and larger spider offspring that come your way. Once you’ve managed to defeat a sufficient number of these spiders, the Nacib boss will emerge from the pond. Here are the various strategies Nacib may employ in its confrontation with you.

  • Jump Attack: Nacib will pounce on either the players or the companions, inflicting damage.
  • Charged Attack: The boss will raise its front legs and hit players.
  • Phantom Spiders: At random intervals during combat, Nacib will unleash a scream and summon phantom spiders to attack players and companions.
  • Webbed Trap: Nacib will launch a ball of web toward players that will explode on impact, dealing damage.

Engaging with Nacib can be somewhat challenging since minor spiderlings will continuously hatch in the battlefield and assault players during the boss battle. It’s essential to stay vigilant against smaller adversaries while concentrating your attacks on Nacib, as this will help you avoid getting poisoned.

To take down the Nacib spider boss more safely, aim for it with a powerful bow from a distance. This way, you’ll stay clear of other spiderlings and protect yourself from the boss’s up-close attacks. But if you have a potent melee weapon that offers high damage per second (DPS) and a decent stamina level, you can engage the boss in close combat and evade its attacks each time it strikes.

You can find a Steel Garrote Plate, a unique heavy armor, on the body in Nacib’s arena that you can loot. Now you can choose to take on another bounty or go back to Bounty Master Aldrich and collect your reward.

Following your victory over Nacib, you should retrieve Nacib’s Leg as a trophy, along with other valuable items. In the arena where Nacib fought, there’s a body that contains a rare heavy armor piece called a Steel Garrote Plate.
