As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent delving into various virtual worlds, I must say that Luma Island has captured my heart (and farm) with its enchanting mysteries and leisurely pace. The game’s blend of farming simulation and adventure RPG is a delightful change of pace, providing an engaging experience that doesn’t feel rushed or stressful.
In the captivating realm of Luma Island, players find themselves immersed in a world brimming with enchanting riddles. Rather than being pressured by time limits, this game allows you to savor every moment as you assist the town’s characters, develop various skills, and nurture your ideal farmstead step by step. Along the way, you’ll create an array of items for sale in shops, using the earnings to expand your Farm.
Obtaining Copper Ore is crucial for various crafting needs in the game, but newcomers might struggle to maintain a consistent supply early on. To help alleviate this, let’s delve into everything you need to know about locating Copper Ore within Luma Island.
How to Find Copper Ore in Luma Island
In the world of Luma Island, you can discover Copper Ores by excavating Copper Ore deposits. These deposits pop up throughout the island. As soon as you begin the game, you’ll notice that two Copper Ore deposits are situated close to your trailer near the entrance of the Abandoned Farm Cave. During your explorations in the Farm region, you might stumble upon a few additional Copper Ore deposits if luck is on your side. Unfortunately, once these deposits have been mined, they no longer reappear, making it challenging to find more Copper for your crafting recipes.
As a gamer here, I transform Copper Ores into useful Copper Ingots at my Ore Smelter. These ingots are vital for constructing crucial items like the Fisherman’s Galley on Luma Island.
To quickly obtain some Copper Ore, make your way to the Abandoned Farm Cave, which is located near your farm and accessible via a nearby ladder. This cave is rich in Copper Ore deposits that you can extract using your Copper Pickaxe.
As a gamer venturing through the Abandoned Farm Cave, I quickly realized that it’s pitch-black beyond the initial zone. Spending too much time in the darkness can lead to my demise, forcing me to restart from the cave entrance. Fortunately, my hard-earned loot remains intact, but I can’t mine Copper Ore in the dark. To avoid certain death and light up my path, I’ll need to craft some Farm Torches first. To do that, I’ll have to acquire the Simple Workbench Blueprint from Blathazar’s Drawing Shop, nestled on the outskirts of town.
The Simple Workbench requires 3x Farm Wood and 5x Twigs to build.
After constructing a Workbench Simplified, you’ll be able to create Farm Lanterns using it. Each lantern requires 1 piece of Farm Wood and 1 unit of Farm Resin, materials easily found around the farm. Make sure to have at least ten lanterns ready before venturing into the Abandoned Cave Farm. As you advance through the cave, strategically place the lanterns on the ground, which will lead you to numerous Copper Ore deposits that can be mined for additional Copper Ore.
You can also mine Charcoal, Bronze, or other minerals in this Cave.
However, while mining, remember to keep track of your surroundings. If you stay inside the cave for too long, Spiders will start spawning that will attack you on sight. They can be killed using the Whip. However, since you aren’t likely to have your tools upgraded, they can be pretty hard to take down during the early hours of Luma Island.
