In ARC Raiders, Baron Husks are massive, defeated machines that are now scattered across the game’s maps. Players can salvage valuable components from these husks as part of the Dormant Barons quest. Finding and looting them can be tricky, and it might attract unwanted attention from other players and enemy machines. This guide will show you how to locate and salvage from Baron Husks in ARC Raiders.

Baron Husk Locations in ARC Raiders (Dormant Barons)

In ARC Raiders, players looking for Baron Husks can head to the Dam Battlegrounds map. While these enemies appear on all maps, there are three specific spots in Dam Battlegrounds where you’re guaranteed to find one. Here’s a guide to all the Baron Husk locations in that area.

  • Old Battleground (Westernmost part of the Dam Battlegrounds)
  • Water Treatment Control (Southwestern part of the Dam Battlegrounds)
  • The Breach (Eastern part of the Dam Battlegrounds)

You can easily collect salvage from the Baron Husks at Old Battleground and the Water Treatment Control area. However, the Husk at The Breach is protected by a sentinel that will shoot at you, so it’s best to try the first two locations before attempting to get the one at The Breach.

How to Loot Baron Husks & Complete Dormant Barons Quest in ARC Raiders

As a big fan of ARC Raiders, I’ve learned that when you get close to a Baron Husk, you’ll hear this really deep, mechanical rumble. That’s your cue – it means you can finally break it open and grab all the loot inside!

You’ll need to collect the head of Baron Husk, but it’s located high above the ground. To reach it, players must climb using the Baron’s mechanical legs.

Okay, so once you get to the Baron Husk’s head, you’ll need to start breaking through it – it takes a while, just a heads up! While you’re doing that, the Baron will make these really loud noises every so often. Be careful though, because those sounds can attract unwanted attention from nearby ARC machines and enemy raiders, so keep an eye out!

After your raider breaks through Baron Husk’s head, immediately jump clear – the area will catch fire. Stay close and wait for the flames to die down, then climb back up to collect the loot. This will finish the Dormant Baron quest in ARC Raiders.

Once you’ve gathered everything, head back to Speranza to finish the Dormant Barons quest. You’ll get 3 Door Blockers and 3 Li’l Smoke Grenades as your reward.
