In the gritty world of RoadCraft, catastrophe hits hard and infrastructure falls apart, leaving me, a seasoned gamer, with the daunting task of rebuilding using my robust machinery and vehicles. The end game? Restoring power to ancient facilities, revitalizing industries by refueling and restarting them. In this post-apocalyptic setting, one of my initial missions in RoadCraft involves tracking down and salvaging a generator from an abandoned site. Sounds easy enough, right? But let me tell you, navigating to this perilous location and retrieving the generator can prove surprisingly challenging. Thankfully, I’ve got your back every step of the way with this helpful guide!

How To Get To The Abandoned Facility in RoadCraft

Initially, it’s crucial to proceed towards the Abandoned Construction Site, which is your primary target. To initiate this task in RoadCraft, simply follow the arrow on your screen until you arrive at the dilapidated facility. This structure is situated southeast of the Forward Base, making it directly south and a bit to the east.

The quickest way to reach the facility is via the road leading to the Forward Base. While it does have some muddy patches and a slight bend, it’s largely a straight path to the Abandoned Facility. Given that it’s an early mission in the game, you can make good use of your Recon Vehicle to get there as swiftly as possible.

To gain access to the structure, make your way towards the building’s southwest side and locate the elevated ramp there. Push the ramp to create a passageway. As you draw near the premises, a tutorial guide will appear on your screen, instructing you to employ the Object Scanner. Remember, at this point, you should aim to scan vertically, not horizontally.

Standing outside the structure, aim your scanner at the location to identify the container on the uppermost level. The path starts from the western wall adjacent to the container. Follow the dirt track until you spot a ramp. In front of this ramp, there’s a yellow-and-black taped wooden signpost. Drive through it to gain access to the building.

Where To Find The Generator in RoadCraft?

When you reach the top of the ramp, you’ll find two paths to your left. The first one ascends to a second wooden plank via an overpass, while the second path also has an extra platform. Be cautious as you nudge the initial ramp slightly without tipping it over the edge. Then, return down the ramp and lift the other wooden board to form a bridge-ramp. Now, you have a direct route to the generator. Employ your winch to attach the generator to the back of your vehicle in RoadCraft. Before departing, look out for a fourth wooden plank on your left. Push through it and it will guide you down another ramp to the quest area of the deserted facility in RoadCraft.

When you move the generator within the perimeter of the deserted building’s mission area, that task will be considered accomplished. This action will grant you 1,200 XP and 2,520 coins as a reward.
