You can start the “Kids Aren’t Alright” quest on Day 15 in the Quarantine Zone: The Last Check. Just look at the Bulletin Board at the beginning of the day to get the quest. The quest description contains several hints that will help you figure out which survivor you’re looking for. Here’s a breakdown of those clues.
- Survivor is a 16-year-old girl.
- The orphanage she escaped from was known to beat its inhabitants.
Okay, so I’ve got the hint, and I’m going to start checking the survivors around Day 15. I’m especially looking for a sixteen-year-old girl who comes through the Checkpoint. The most important thing is to go to the Symptoms tab for each survivor – their info, like age, shows up in the top-left corner, so that’s where I’ll find her!
When the NPC who gives out quests appears, pay attention to their appearance – details about their age will help you start the ‘Kids Aren’t Alright’ quest in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check.
Next, use the Scanner tool to examine the survivor’s body. Pay close attention to any bruises, particularly around their stomach and on their back. If you find bruising, it confirms you’ve located the correct survivor at the Checkpoint.
Okay, so when I get a survivor who’s hurt – like with bruises – I need to make sure I mark those injuries on my tablet before I send her over to the Quarantine block. Once she’s in Quarantine, the ‘Kids Aren’t Alright’ quest will finally be checked off my list. And the best part? I’ll get $1200 for getting that sixteen-year-old girl properly quarantined!
