How to Find the Royal Frog in The Sims 4

If you’re looking for the Royal Frog in The Sims 4, you won’t need to dig around – just talk to a special tree and ask for a love blessing. In the Ondarion world, which comes with The Sims 4 Royalty and Legacy pack, you’ll find the Zanbira Tree near the Darong resident in the Dambele district. Interacting with this tree offers several blessings, and one of them will lead you to the Royal Frog through a ‘Novel Romance’ option.

In The Sims 4, Sims can get the Royal Frog by asking the Zanbira Tree for the Novel Romance wish. The tree doesn’t always grant the wish, but Sims have a better chance of getting the frog if they look at the tree before making the request.

If you’re having trouble finding a Royal Frog in The Sims 4 because of the Zanbira Tree, you can easily add one using cheats. Simply enable cheats, open the cheat menu, and go to ‘EP21 – Royalty & Legacy’ > ‘Power Shift Events’ > ‘[DEBUG] Create Noble Frog’. This will instantly give your Sim a Royal Frog.

Just because you transform the Royal Frog into a Sim doesn’t guarantee a happy romance! The new Sim might not feel a connection with your Sim, or your Sim might already be in a relationship, leaving the frog uninterested. In either case, the frog will leave your Sim’s life and disappear from their inventory. Don’t worry, though – you’ll still be able to find them recorded in your Frog collection notebook.

If a Sim is single and a frog Sim is open to a relationship, the frog will immediately propose marriage. Since frog Sims become available at Level 7 of the Noble Career, this offers Sims a quick path to marrying into the royal family.
