Freeze the Clawitzer Fountain

If you’re looking to quickly find a Pokémon that can learn Ice Beam, check out Wild Zone 12. It’s full of various Ice-type Pokémon, including , , and , all of which can be taught the move.

You can find the Ice Beam TM in Aymlis Park, located at the northern end of Wild Zone 12. You’ll need to break a few rocks to reach it, but once you do, you’ll see a glowing yellow Poke Ball right in the middle of the court – that’s the TM!

Ice Beam does 90 damage and may leave the target frozen. It has a cooldown of eight seconds.

To get Ice Beam, check the TMs section in your Items bag and teach it to a Pokémon. Alternatively, go to your Pokémon Boxes, select an Ice-type Pokémon, and check its available moves. Press ZR to view available TMs; if Ice Beam is listed, that Pokémon can learn it.

Sometimes, the Pokémon you catch will already know the Ice Beam move, which means you won’t need to find and use the TM for it in Wild Zone 12.

Return to the fountain statue and add the Pokémon to your team. Aim at the statue using the ZL button, then use Ice Beam to freeze it, which will begin the next part of the mission.
