As a gamer, I’ve stumbled upon some dark and mysterious corners in this game that seem ripe for exploration. However, it’s not all fun and games when the lights go out! Thankfully, the developers thought ahead and included a trusty flashlight as one of the early game equipment. After obtaining the key to the Wood Side Apartments, players eager for intense combat in Silent Hill games can decide between confronting the multitude of enemies surrounding James or seeking out a route by the dumpsters that takes them back to Martin Street’s right side. Consult your map to find the Apartments and make your way there. Upon entering, search for a map of each floor on the board near the counter. You can save your game at the Save Point within the Reception Office.

Following the save of your game, make your way upstairs to the second level. Here, you’ll notice an unusual sound coming from Apartment 202. Venture inside the room to discover several mannequins and a Health Drink hidden within one of the cabinets on your left side.

The mannequin positioned centrally sports a flashlight fastened to its neck. Interact with it to obtain the flashlight, which can be activated and deactivated by pressing the “R3” button on your PlayStation controller. Be cautious, for upon grabbing the flashlight, a fresh enemy will emerge, featuring legs on its lower body and ready to attack you.

The Flashlight operates independently of batteries, meaning you can rely on it regardless of whether it’s switched on or off.
