Luckily, it’s not as hard to get as I thought! Once you unlock the AIC Factory and the right facilities, you can actually farm Aketine pretty easily. So, no need to stress about running out of explosive materials!

How to Get Aketine in Arknights Endfield

There are two ways to get Aketine in Arknights Endfield:

  1. Find it in the wild
  2. Make it at your AIC Factory

To get Aketine at your base in Arknights: Endfield, you’ll first need to find one in the game world. You use the wild Aketine to make Aketine Seeds, and then you use those Seeds to create more Aketine. Early in the game, the best place to look for Aketine is the Abandoned Trail in the Valley Pass.

After discovering Aketine for the first time, you don’t need to search for it in the wild anymore. It’s fast and simple to grow your own using just two facilities in your AIC Factory.

How to Farm Aketine in Arknights Endfield

Here are step-by-step instructions explaining how to farm Aketine in Arknights Endfield:

  1. Complete the ‘Paving the Way’ main mission.
  2. Use the Expansion Core to unlock the second tier of the AIC Factory Plan.
  3. Unlock the Seed-Picking Unit and Planter on the AIC Factory Plan.
  4. Place the Seed-Picking Unit and Planter near each other in your Factory.
  5. Use belts to connect the Seed-Picking Unit to the Planter.
  6. Then use belts from the other side of the Planter to connect with the other side of the Seed-Picking Unit.
  7. Place Aketine into the Seed-Picking Unit.

This process creates a continuous cycle where you get seeds from Aketine, then turn those seeds into twice the amount of Aketine you started with.

If the previous steps don’t solve the problem, double-check that all your facilities are powered on. Also, ensure your belts are connected correctly – plug the output of one facility into the input of the next one.

How to Make Explosives in Arknights Endfield

In Arknights: Endfield, you’ll use the Packaging Unit to create explosives by combining Amethyst Parts and Aketine Powder. This becomes available after completing the second stage of the AIC Factory Plan. To get Amethyst Parts, first refine Amethyst Ore into Amethyst Fiber using the Refining Unit, then process the fiber in the Fitting Unit. Getting Aketine Powder is simpler – just process Aketine in the Shredding Unit.

After collecting enough Amethyst Parts and Aketine Powder, combine them in the Packaging Unit to craft Industrial Explosives. These work just like the free explosives you find while exploring – you can select them from your backpack and throw them to create explosions. It’s smart to carry a few Industrial Explosives with you, especially when exploring, in case you encounter something you need to destroy but don’t have any free explosives on hand.
