Ghost of Yotei features 13 different armor sets, and each one gives Atsu two or three unique passive abilities. Players can earn three of these outfits just by finishing the main story. However, the remaining ten sets require completing side quests called tales and bounties for the people of Ezo, or by purchasing downloadable content (DLC).
The ideal Ghost of Yotei armor will depend on how each player likes to play, because each set is made to enhance a specific playstyle. Certain sets focus on being sneaky, while others are better for players who enjoy aggressive, risky combat. Collecting all of the armor sets (without DLC) will earn players the For All Occasions Trophy.
Onryo Armor
How to Get the Onryo Armor in Ghost of Yotei
The Onryo Armor is Atsu’s starting armor and can be used right away from the beginning of Chapter 1. It’s different from other Ghost of Yotei armor sets because it doesn’t need to be upgraded manually; instead, it improves automatically as you progress through the main story.
Dragonfly Armor

You can earn the Dragonfly Armor by finishing the Dragonfly Armor Tale. To start this tale, find and talk to Daijiro, who is located near the river south of the Ohara Plains in the Yotei Grasslands area.
Bounty Master Armor
How to Get the Bounty Master Armor in Ghost of Yotei
You can earn the Bounty Master Armor by finishing the Soma the Condemned Bounty. To start this bounty, talk to Kojiro after you’ve already completed four bounties in the Yotei Grasslands.
Robes for Sitturaynu
How to Get the Robes for Sitturaynu in Ghost of Yotei
Completing the quest The Heart of an Ainu will reward players with the Robes for Sitturaynu. This quest begins by speaking to Huci after reaching the Nayoro Wilds. Unlike most armor in Ghost of Yotei, these robes can’t be upgraded by Ginji. Instead, players must collect Ainu Items and bring them to Kaeka for upgrades.
Taro’s Armor
How to Get Taro’s Armor in Ghost of Yotei
You can obtain Taro’s Armor from Taro. You’ll find him in several places around Ezo, such as the Dead Man’s Tree located in the Tokachi Range.
Armor of the Undying

Completing the Undying Samurai Mythic Tale will reward players with the Armor of the Undying. You can start this tale by talking to Storyteller Ugetsu, who is located near the Nakagoya Spring in the Ishikari Plain area.
Spider Lily Armor
How to Get the Spider Lily Armor in Ghost of Yotei
You can earn the Spider Lily Armor by finishing the Spider Lily General Mythic Tale. To start this tale, find and talk to Storyteller Ugetsu, who is located near the Mysterious Gate in the Yotei Grasslands. Completing the tale will reward you with the armor.
Crimson Kimono
How to Get the Crimson Kimono in Ghost of Yotei
Completing the Crimson Kimono Mythic Tale earns players the Crimson Kimono. You can start this tale by talking to Storyteller Ugetsu, who is located in the Abandoned Village area of Teshio Ridge.
Mercenary Attire
How to Get the Mercenary Attire in Ghost of Yotei
The Mercenary Attire is obtained as part of the main story during the Oni questline.
Snake Skin Armor
How to Get the Snake Skin Armor in Ghost of Yotei
The Snake Skin Armor is included with the Deluxe Edition of Ghost of Yotei. It cannot be upgraded.
The Snake Skin Armor is not required for the For All Occasions Trophy.
Ginji’s Guard Armor

You’ll get Ginji’s Guard Armor for finishing the Pride Before Tea Tale. You can start this tale by talking to Ginji after you reach Oshima Coast.
Nine Tail Armor

The Nine Tail Armor is obtained as part of the main story during the Kitsune questline.
Fundoshi
How to Get the Fundoshi in Ghost of Yotei
You can earn the Fundoshi by taking the time to rest in all eighteen hot springs within the Ghost of Yotei area. Please note that this item cannot be upgraded.
