How to Get and Use Sanity in Arknights Endfield

In Arknights: Endfield, completing Sanity tasks should become a regular part of your gameplay. It’s an effective way to strengthen your Operators and increase your Authority Level. While you can use items and in-game currency to refill Sanity and keep playing, some methods for doing so are better than others.

How to Get Sanity in Arknights Endfield

Here’s all the ways you can get more Sanity in Arknights Endfield:

  • Recover one Sanity point every seven minutes for free
  • Use Sanity Syrup to recover 40 Sanity
  • Use Emergency Sanity Booster to recover 40 Sanity
  • Use Origeometry to Recover 40 points per one Origeometry

In Arknights: Endfield, the most effective ways to restore Sanity are letting it recharge naturally for free and using Emergency Sanity Boosters. Sanity slowly refills on its own—about one point every seven minutes—even when you’re not playing. Keep in mind that Emergency Sanity Boosters expire, so use them before they disappear, and before you use any Sanity Syrups you might have saved up!

If you absolutely need to restore your Sanity quickly in Arknights: Endfield, you can use Origeometry to gain 40 Sanity points per Origeometry. However, we advise against this. Origeometry is a rare, paid currency, and it’s usually better spent on things like pulling characters on Banners or progressing through the Originium Supply track of the Protocol Pass (the battle pass).

How to Raise Maximum Sanity in Arknights Endfield

In Arknights: Endfield, the amount of Sanity you can have (your Sanity cap) goes up as you gain Authority. Using Sanity actually helps you increase your Authority, because doing so earns you Operational EXP, which is what raises your Authority Level. You can also boost your Authority quickly by doing daily tasks, opening chests, completing quests, and unlocking fast travel points.

How to Use Sanity in Arknights Endfield

In Arknights: Endfield, you use Sanity to get items that level up your Operators and weapons, and also to earn Operational EXP from the “Index” section of the Operational Manual. This section contains Protocol Spaces you’ve discovered and lets you re-fight bosses for more rewards and progression items. Simply choose a challenge that gives you the items you need – like Protodisks, Protoprisms, or T-Creds – and tap “Go” to start the battle.

When tackling Index challenges, you have to defeat the enemies before you can use your Sanity. Because of this, it’s best to choose a level you can reliably complete. While harder levels offer better rewards, they take much longer to beat and aren’t guaranteed wins – you could end up wasting time and still failing.

After winning a battle, you can use Sanity Usage Permits to spend twice as much Sanity and earn twice the rewards.
