In Arc Raiders, finding resources through exploration and scavenging is crucial. Everything players collect can be used to craft items or improve things like workbenches and weapons. Players will need to find an ARC Motion Core relatively early in the game.
Finding these items in the game can be tough since there’s no guidance on where to look, and it takes a lot of searching. This guide will show you how to obtain them in Arc Raiders.
How to Get ARC Motion Core in Arc Raiders
ARC Motion Cores are uncommon in the game, but there are several ways to obtain them. One method is to destroy ARC enemies called Surveyors – these are ball-shaped and appear only once per map, making them tricky to locate and destroy because they constantly roll away.

A simple way to find these locations is to open a map like Dam Battlegrounds or Blue Gate and look for a steady blue beam in the sky. Once you see it, head towards it to begin the fight.
Having a Showstopper grenade will give you a big advantage. It can stun enemies in an area, letting you follow up with a quick attack.
You can loot the machine after you have destroyed it to find the ARC Motion Cores.

In addition to Surveyors, you can also open up Arc Droids, which sometimes contain the cores you’re looking for. You can also get them by defeating bigger ARC enemies like Leapers and Rocketeers. These enemies break apart when defeated and often drop valuable items, including ARC Motion Cores.

You can make an ARC Motion Core with six ARC Alloy, but you’ll need Refiner Level 3 to do so. This core is used to build a Magnetic Accelerator and to upgrade your Refiner. If you recycle an ARC Motion Core, you’ll get back two ARC Alloys.
