In the imaginary game named “Grounded 2,” understanding how to utilize suitable tools is essential as you explore and survive. As a tiny human transformed into a bug-like creature, you’ll traverse a vast park landscape from a minuscule perspective. To reflect your diminutive size, resources for survival are large compared to typical bug-sized objects like tall blades of grass and dandelions. Mastering the technique to obtain an Axe is vital if you want to chop down the grass and other weeds in “Grounded 2.”
How To Get An Axe (Omni-Tool) In Grounded 2
In the thrilling world of Grounded 2, as a player, I embark on an exciting quest to acquire my very own Omni-Axe. To do this, I need to discover the elusive Ranger Outpost: Snackbar first. Once found, I’ll spot the Omni-Axe hanging on the wall, just waiting to be picked up. This remarkable tool will be the initial Omni-Tool I unlock in Grounded 2, serving as a crucial stepping stone towards unveiling the rest of the game’s equipment.
How To Chop Grass In Grounded 2

In Grounded 2, to cut the grass, move towards it and click the ‘chop’ button once you have the Axe. Remember, there’s no need to manually equip the Axe; it will be automatically equipped when you interact with the appropriate object.
Instead of cutting regular grass to get Grass Planks, you can also cut various other plants such as dandelions, flowers, weeds, and more.
How To Get Dry Grass Chunk In Grounded 2
In the immersive world of Grounded 2, as a fellow adventurer, I’ve discovered that obtaining Dry Grass Chunks is quite straightforward. You can either whack away at some Dry Grass with your tool, or you might find these chunks already lying on the ground, just waiting to be picked up. Interestingly, I’ve noticed these Dry Grass Chunk plants tend to sprout near the Ranger Outpost: Snackbar, making them easily accessible when a mission calls for them.
In the park, you can find dry grass suitable for chopping scattered here and there. However, there are places where large bunches of wilting dry grass can be seen. For instance, the area to the east of the Ominent Boarding Facility, west of Ranger Outpost: Snackbar, and south of the Ceremony Pamphlet.
The park has patches of dry grass that you can cut, but there are also spots where a lot of wilting dry grass is located. These include the area near the Ominent Boarding Facility to the east, Ranger Outpost: Snackbar to the west, and south of the Ceremony Pamphlet.
How To Find The Ranger Outpost In Grounded 2
Locating a Ranger Outpost is essential for completing the “One Tool to Rule Them All” mission in Grounded 2. When you have multiple tasks piling up, remember that the Ranger Outpost: Snackbar can be found to the east of the Ominent Onboarding Facility.
Once you’ve entered the location, obtained the Omni-Axe, and received a call from a room nearby, you’ll notice it’s locked. To get to this room and unlock the Ranger Station, players should first leave the outpost, locate an external cave, and then navigate to the locked room through the cave (a quest marker will guide you). Once inside the cave, you’ll find a way to open the locked door from within, making it easy to explore the entire outpost after that.
As an enthusiast, I can’t stress enough the importance of familiarizing myself with the Ranger Station. This handy hub is where I unlock new goodies, craft Omni-Tools, and enhance my gear, including the Axe, Wrench, and Shovel. To ensure I’m always prepared for the tougher challenges ahead, it’s essential to know the location of the nearest Ranger Station from my base. That way, I can easily obtain those higher-tier tools when I need them most.
