How to Get Barbed Bracelet in Silksong

In *Hollow Knight: Silksong*, players will have access to a wide range of tools useful in all kinds of situations, whether it’s navigating tricky platforms or battling enemies. While players typically need to collect Pale Oils and deliver them to Bellhart to increase Hornet’s attack power, there’s a tool in the game that can also boost damage-though it comes with a drawback.

This guide explains how to get the Barbed Bracelet in *Hollow Knight: Silksong* and helps you decide if it’s a good item to use compared to other options.

How to Get the Barbed Bracelet in Silksong

To obtain the item, start by traveling to Shellwood and learning the Wall Jump. You’ll need to defeat Sister Splinter, then continue to the right from the boss arena to find this ability. Once you have it, go to Greymoor Bellway Station, head left, and enter the first tower. Climb upwards until you find an opening on the right leading to the second tower. Continue to the right and go through the passage on the right side.

You can make the elevator go down, giving you a shortcut to the Halfway Home bench.

Starting from the elevator, jump on the metal spikes to the left, then glide to the right. From there, hit a ball downwards to reach the upper-right area and a passage leading further to the right. This will take you to Sinner’s Road. Ignore the green mantis trapped above and continue far to the right. Proceed through the room filled with Muckroaches, and at the end, don’t go up. Instead, enter the cage and drop down. Carefully avoid the spikes, and you’ll find the Barbed Bracelet resting on a wooden raft.

Stay out of the water here because it’s infested with poisonous creatures called Muckmaggots. You can get rid of them by using your Bind ability, though it won’t restore your health – it just eliminates the maggots.

How Does It Work & Is It Worth It in Silksong?

The Yellow Tool boosts your damage, but also makes you take more damage. This makes it tricky to use, as it can lead to being defeated quickly by bosses, especially since you have limited health throughout the game. It’s also a problem in platforming sections where many enemies and traps deal significant damage – with the tool equipped, you’ll likely die very quickly. However, it can be useful against bosses with predictable attacks if you’re a skilled player and can avoid getting hit.

If you’re collecting Rosaries, this tool is essential. While farming, you’ll usually take some damage, but using this tool along with the Barbed Bracelet lets you survive three hits and defeat enemies more quickly. The Barbed Bracelet also boosts your Clawline ability’s damage after you unlock it. By harpooning enemies and quickly dashing away, you can make most farming runs much easier and faster.
