As Palworld progresses with each open beta update, it’s adding more to its world, including new features, items, NPCs, weapons, gear, and islands teeming with fresh Pals to capture. The Feybreak expansion introduces a brand-new island that’s six times larger than Sakurajima, offering not just novel objectives for players to discover, but also a host of new monsters to collect.
Among the new companions introduced in the Feybreak expansion is Bastigor, a robust Ice-type character who could prove to be an excellent addition or worker for players due to his potential. Hence, if you’re on the hunt for this companion, whether for your collection or the benefits he offers as an ally, he’s certainly worth tracking down. The guide below provides all the necessary information to capture him, along with details about his unique abilities and work compatibility.
How to Get Bastigor in Palworld
Unlike most Pals seen wandering around different locations across numerous islands on the world map, Bastigor doesn’t spawn at specific spots on any island, making it somewhat challenging to acquire. Instead of finding Bastigor out in the wild, players need to hatch one from an Egg. Huge Frozen Eggs are the type that can produce a Bastigor, so if you come across any during your journey, it’s wise to gather them and put them into an incubator right away.
Instead of relying on hunting for Eggs from the wild, which can be slow and unpredictable, it’s recommended that players focus on breeding the Pal at their base. This can be achieved by pairing two Pals together at a Breeding Farm. To do this, simply place one male Pal and one female Pal in the Breeding Farm and stock some Cake in the supply box.

- Eventually, this should generate an Egg as long as the pairing is compatible. Luckily, there is one pairing that is known to result in hatching Bastigor – Anubis and Frostallion. Though, of course, once you have two Bastigor, you can also breed them together to guarantee more Bastigor hatches and start searching for the best IVs / Skills.
